Since we stopped eating cereal for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch my OH also appears to be 'cured' of IBS symptoms. He has also lost nearly a stone in weight without trying and is back to the weight he was 20 years ago. He was only commenting yesterday that he can't believe the difference one small change in diet could make.

in the low carb community its called wheat belly

we defiantly do not seam to be well adjusted for a high carb diet, as we evolved our guts shrank and we lost the ability to ferment carbs into protein like the other great apes, switching to a more natural diet seams to cure many of today's common maladies

people have reported that its cured asthma for them, my dry eye syndrome just slowly went (leaving me with £100s worth of eye drops lol)

Yesterday was a lapse into the past before I joined this challenge -mega overeating. No exercise either. Other health concerns, too much of certain foods and thus restricting certain foods seemed the cause. Anyway, today I did some gardening, as from last Wednesday I thought I'd do at least 30 mins per day on average till next Tuesday. Wondered if this could be a challenge for anybody next month?

I have to walk for a minimum of 20 minutes a day, so that will be 1 hour 40 minutes in the week, as well as the other things I normally do.

  • Eric: What type of the Total Greek yogurt do you eat? Full fat, 2% or 0%?

Usually I go for full fat because I don't trust low fat/no fat stuff, but I wasn't sure so I bought one of each :p

Phew well back from my weekend away in the new forest, did the 100 mile sportive in 6hours20 mins slightly peeved as a drinks stop at the end meant I missed out on silver standard by 10 mins but it was very hilly even OH struggled. That's was today 24/711

    On 23/7 I did 45 mins walk

On 22/7 did 30 mins walking

Haven't weighed myself but think i will put on as I have had to eat proper meals for 2 days or I wouldn't of got round today. On well back on the wagon!

Hr monitor reckons I burnt 4500 calories today so that has got to help!!!

30 minutes of exercise a day?

If the former, in the words of the Dragons (Den), I'm out! :rotfl:
