    Morning everyone.
Sorry not posted for a while. I had hoped to do 12 hrs but I have had tendonitis and have not even started my exercise plan.:(
My leg is feeling better so hopefully will get started soon.
I have lost another 2lb this week though, taking my total weight loss for July to 9.5lb.:T

Eric, thanks for the diagram re carbs intake... :) I'm gonna try to record everything and aim for 50-70g of carbs to see if it works for me... do you know a website where I can check fruit, veg etc. for carbs inhalt? :o

I'm also going to stay away from aspartame... I use quite a bit of it  Pepsi max is my fav, I also dring sprite zero/7 up free... Not huge amounts but will try to find something without aspartame... I also use sweetner to add to my smoothies(but switched to the one that is not aspartame based) and coffee... Will try to find replacements too...

So all "diets/healthy eating" advice to drink LOADS of water, is it really the case? I try to drink 1,5l bottle every day which isn't easy but can't imagine 3-4l  Unless coffee, soups, food count into it...

And what are your views on suplements? I don't mean Adios, Alli etc. but for example Chromium, L-carnitine? Do you think they help?

    TIA :A

Is there somewhere I could look for diet advice? I am a newbie to dieting and have read all of your posts. I need someone to point me in the right direction as I am easily confused. Healthy eating and small portions I understands but do I eat carbs or not, and is there a lsit anywhere that has say a diet daily menu. Hope someone can advise me please. beanielou suggested I not do the cabbage soup diet though, so any other ideas will be gratefully received.

    Thanks
    Maureen

Someone will come along soon to hopefully answer your questions. I do not diet as hate being restricted in what I can and cannot eat :rotfl: I exercise (a lot) and try to eat sensibly and healthily. If I want a chocolate bar, I'll have one (but obviously not eat it everyday nor huge amounts :D )

Well i am losing my voice, not good.
Went out for a carvery with my family today, loaded my plate up with veg and didnt touch the massive yorkshires they were offering. Down side is i went to see one of my sisters with my mum before we went and she is trying to get into cake making, so i ate two of her cupcakes, naughty naughty.Tomorrow is clean up day so i am going to clean the house, which should burn some calories but i am also going to try and get onto the wii, if my kids let me turn of the cartoons. Not looking forward to weigh in on wednesday, but i am going to work my butt off food and exercise wise and hopefully repair some of the damage from the past 2 days.

Thank you for the link / diagram Eric - very interesting. My weight loss seems to have slowed down so I have decided to try to reduce carb intake further this week and see what happens. I use food focus to track what I eat - so will track grams of carbs eaten using this.
