Hiya all, can I join in please?
I've been scared into losing weight after a diabetes shock and joined WW via my GP.
I'm finding it okay and have joined the WW site as well doing a blog (linkie) but having never done anything like this before finding it hard to get motivated when have no idea of what to cook some nights. It's not such of a struggle on the pro points but understanding the best way to do this if you get what I mean!

    welcome

Well haven't lost anything today but have done 2.5 hours cycling my commute to work.

There is a very long 1 mile killer hill normally takes me 8 mins to get up, managed 7 mins today a good sign.

Even though I have lost 5lb in 2 and bit weeks it seems to be coming of sooooo slowly now, just thinking don't give up don't give up. I can be the next cavendish.....

    Help me stay good team!!!!

We're coming up to the end of this months exercise challenge so please put your thinking caps on for suggestions for next months challenge.

I've really enjoyed this month's challenge :T as I haven't been shortchanged :rotfl:It's made me realise that I don't log the majority of my workout - Insanity workout which is 6 days a week nor my pilates, zumba and aerobics classes as it's difficult to log them in distances.

I currently have no suggestions for next months challenge. I'm still thinking. :)

Right! Reverse psychology. I love tummy fat; I love tummy fat; Now, maybe it'll go away :rotfl:

I still don't get this carb thing.

My husband eats a lot of starchy foods such as cassava, yam, plantain, corn dough or rice. He grew up on these foods and he's well fit. He does no exercise but is slim. Each time he gets tested at the docs - cholesterol, BP, bloods etc, his results come back normal.

You should see the portion of his food :rotfl:

some people seam to have superior natural insulin control, about 20% of the population find it hard to actually gain weight, about 1 in 1000 find it near impossible to gain weight.
