Eric and other low-carbers - what do you eat for lunch?
I have a salad most days - tuna or cottage cheese. If you have a fridge in work, can you stock it up at the beginning of the week and make a quick salad each day?
Not doing very well with the exercise challenge - shoulder still sore from fall that I had and now my hip is giving me bother.
The good news is that I went out for lunch with a few friends I hadn't seen for a while, who all noticed that I had lost weight.:T0 -
1 hour 15 mins for me today(fred please put me back on 24 and not 48 hours...
)
not a great weekend... no exercise at all(unless 4.5 hours mad rush through 4 T's counts :P) and loads of booze
not that bad food wise but I'm sure it was no good all in all... 0 -

I need something that I can take to work with me, that is cheap and low effort. At work I have a fridge, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster.
I am really stuck for healthy lunch ideas
Cheers!
tuna / chicken / beef 120-150g
nuts 30-50g (almonds can be cheap, 800g for £5 in tesco)
roasted bean mix 30-50g
live yoghurt its not cheap thou
but nom nom nom
18g carbs
I am pretty repetitive for lunch but then i ate cheese and onion sandwiches for lunch everyday for 5 years

59 minutes - Max Interval Circuit
Was a bit tough this morning as 2 year old son woke up when I did. I usually open the windows and doors to get in some air but he kept on saying, "I'm cold mummy" so I had to close everything and sweat like a pig :rotfl:SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES

Well done, my little man always turns off my treadmill when I am on it and say 'too much exercising' it is very hard working out with a nipper about so well done!
Well I have had a 1lb loss currently weighing in at 10.13 and a quarter. It is the first time I have been under 11 stone in 3 years.
Last night 18/7/11 I managed 1hr15 'brick' session where I went treadmills, bike, treadmill, bike, treadmill. Trying to get my legs ready for a triathlon in a few weeks.
Am hopefully going out on a longish cyclle today
Good luck in your efforts today. BTW to those who don't think 1 hr is enough exercise my peraonl belief is look at quality and intensity if training rather than duration. I would much rather do a 3 hr steady bike than the session I did last night as it is much harder! HTH0 -
