Thats a top not a dress!! Too short, even shorter with big boobs, hope she does wear tights, not a good look with corned beef legs on show(or maybe even spiders legs....)0

im 19 and a big busted girl too (size 14) so hardly on the large size either. i wouldnt wear it bere legged to a wedding ( or at all) and i can totally see why you are upset shes wanting to waer it the wedding is for your son and his bride the dont want all the guest to be looking at sd bum the whole wedding. i would suggest to her maybe a nice maxi dress? or a midi dress h&m do a really nice floral patterend dress for about £40.
btw im not a prude i just think its wrong that young girls like to flash the flesh infact i find its quiet gross and its not a very good image to protray to the younger family members either.
good luck xx
Flash the flesh?
That a bit over the top isn't it? It's a bit of leg for God's sake, not her boobs and backside!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Can't see the problem with it either, I'd kill for the figure to fit into it though!0

The dress is perfect for a 16 year old attending a wedding. There will probably be girls wearing much more revealing dresses. I wouldn't let it bother you and just enjoy your son's wedding day! Don't let this ruin it for you. I think the response on here shows that most other people attending the wedding are not going to think anything of your stepdaughter wearing this dress.0

Most dresses like that are worn with tights & heels, OP might have just assumed she would be going bare legged.0

My 16 y/o said it was horrid and she wouldn't wear it either it looks like a maternity top and the girl forgot her trousers lol DS1's GF doesn't like it either at 18.. said her bum will be cold 9i did point out it would be down to her knees and she replied.. like my nightie? lol.. so all this 'bang on trend for 16 y/o' looks like a load of rubbish so far as my brood is concerned.. that was before we said large bosoms.
In my house we agree SD should get something a little more shapely to show she isn't spongebob!.. and we are not averse to body parts.. we all have them!
I doubt the older family members would be very impressed either.. though the 3 y/o's might be impressed to see panties!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
My bridesmaid will be my 16yr old DSD...she's wearing this dress
Maybe I should rethink and buy something that covers her shoulders and knees?0 -
