sounds like you have it sorted now. Two outfits? Good thinking on her part- i assume she isn't paying:laugh:
I love the colour of the outfit- funnily enough I really don't think it looks so good in the other 2 colours. I do think that it might just not suit her. I may be well off the mark- but I would think something fitted round the waist would be better?

I used to have it all on show as well :o

I do find it amazing when you see very large ladies in leggings ( I won't wear them at a 16) and they look like they have a sack of spuds down their trousers :o

It's just amazing that 'fashion' these days is so unfavourable to everyone who isn't a size 8, and that bigger people are so keen to wear 'fashion' that they disregard how they look. Madness on both counts.

Everyone seems to look the same these days, it makes me sad.

I say thank goodness white stretchy trousers weren't in fashion for long. A few summers ago, we were regularly treated to oversized legs with cellulite showing through the fabric!

Very few people look good in them and I literally cringed sometimes, as I felt sure many would burn them if they only knew how they looked from the back!

from other replies I'm assuming I'll be in the minority here but, I think the dress is too short (obv depending on the height of the person wearing it).
I also think if she has a big chest this kind of dress won't suit her - talking from experience here!

I'm 29, so not super old :p but I hate the way so many young girls dress these days, short short skirts/dresses, low cut tops. Showing a bit of skin is ok...but so many go over the top and I think it just looks cheap tbh.

NO no fish can eat my feet! I really don't like my feet being touched full stop! and the thought of fish nibbling at them eeeeeeeek :eek::eek:

You should be careful about this anyway, as I heard somewhere that the fish were passing on things like athlete's foot from one customer to another.

So, apparently, they should be using a new set of fish for each customer.

Hi there, I've not read all this post, but that original dress looks great for a wedding - I wore something similar to one in October (with skin tights and heels) - got lots of compliments.

My reason for posting was just to say that your DSD's outfit looks perfect - compared to what my cousin's (Norwegian) step daughter wore to her half brother's christening last year - she's 16 and she had full (big) boobs and legs out! - I found myself muttering something about a belt and that she should be out clubbing, not in a church! yes I felt myself sounding like my mum! There was more emphasis on her outfit though because she was also godmother - so she was right at the front of the church carrying candles etc!

It ended up just being a bit of friendly banter among guests rather than upsetting anyone. I think her mother was happy for her to wear whatever she wanted as their most recent arguement was about her going out to London on her own and getting a facial piercing without permission! (imagine explaining that to her father when they got back to Norway!).

    HTH.

My DSD (not!) was given £200 by Mr P to get an outfit for our wedding and turned up in old jeans, flip flops and a bright orange T shirt. Promptly christened Ruud van Nistelroy!

Pretty dress, and could work for a wedding, but for a body shape with big boobs... don't think the dress is suited for it.

    Totally agree with this.

Whilst I quite like the dress, I agree with you that it is inappropriate for the event in question. It is far too short to be worn to a formal, family occasion. I also think it needs tights and flat shoes to avoid looking completely tarty. A wedding is not the place for a 16 year old to be commanding attention.

A guest at my sister's wedding wore something similarly short a couple of years ago. She was 15. Everyone was talking about her and no-one was saying anything good. I was mortified for her parents.
