    Hi ncjharris,

I cannot comment on other customers personal circumstances with regards to the use of the spray. However I used mine on a leather sofa in January 2011 and I have been incredibly ill since that time. I would not let my dog near it let alone your 11 month old baby be very careful because one customer lost their puppy and another lady is pregnant.

If I was in your situation I would send it back and request they deliver your new one ASAP. Furthermore I would not trust anyone that informs you that they work for Harvey’s. There is currently a claim against them by customers that have been effected and they are on this forum so if need advice I am here and others. I have also posted our solicitor details which 7 of us use, so if you wanted more in depth advice on what you should do that could be an option or you can IM one of us so that Harvey’s, McLords and AXA Insurance does not see the posting. They monitor the forum each day so be careful who you trust, it’s best to IM then you know who you are dealing with. Whiteknight is right "FleurHD" y not have permission to be on the forum.

    Thanks

    Sean

    Hi ncjharris,

Sorry I forgot to say that they are currently covering it up about the fabric spray. The mist common thing they say is that is safe and they are being careful with their customers safety. The spray is toxic i have had it tested.

If you need any advice im me.

    Thanks

    Sean

would just like to say Well done to Wee-j for bringing this to the attention of the public, hope you all get a satisfactory result from your claims. It is appalling that this product was allowed on the market.

Ok, thanks all for your replys.
I wont say too much more as I know that the companies can lurk around and from past experience that what you post can be used against you.
I will be considering our position and taking advice.

Suffice to say, if it was Harveys on this board then it wouldn't be too hard to trace me if they really wanted to get in touch!
  • Hi everyone

Just to confirm Fleur is genuinely from Harveys.

    Andrea :)

    Good grief!

It sounds like an extraordinarily powerful product!

    Azari,

Yeah it is an extraordinarily powerful product, it has made me and my mother very ill. I bought the product with the knowledge that it had been tested, but they recalled it because it can harm people.

Wow, well done for bringing this to people's attention.

We purchased a sofa from Harvey's a few months ago, glad we didn't bother buying the protection spray!
