Nope, the tart burner is intact, everything was intact, there was just a small hole in the wax on top.

I've had it around a year and never had any problems?

WOW! I've been using Yankee Tart burners for years and never heard of this, glad you weren't in the room!

I would contact Yankee to let them know, they will probably offer some sort of compensation!

Wasn't the shops fault it expolded so why shout?

Shouting gets you sweet FA when it comes to making a complaint IMO its best to keep calm and be polite.

It was a wax tart, and going by the picture, i'd say most of it is on the wall.

Thanks for that, didn't know about trimming the wick. will see if it makes a difference.
