Yankee Candle exploded - what to do?

Hi all
I have a Yankee Candle tartlet burner, which I let this evening. It had been lit for approx 10 mins, and seemed to 'explode' through the top. It has shot hot wax everywhere, on the walls, the floor, fireplace, curtains etc. I have managed to get it off my floor and fireplace, but the wall is covered in dried wax.
Where do I stand with this? I am livid!
Thanks
I'm not sure how to attach pics, or I would.

Where did you get it from?
upload pics to photobucket.com then use the image code to post them here:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
It was bought from a gift shop close to where I live, it is genuine Yankee Candle burner and tealight.

Yowzers! Where did you buy it from? My cousin had this problem a few years ago with a Wilkinsons own brand candle. They paid for the room to be cleaned.Gone ... or have I?0

Looking at that, you are lucky you were not in the room at the time:eek::eek:
I would be taking it down there first thing tomorrow with your pics, if possible and complaining rather loudly!:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
Blimey, they don't mention that on QVC.......0

As said above - an independent gift shop type place.
Who should I email about this? Yankee Candle themselves? I don't want to seem as if I'm on the hunt for compensation or whatever, but it is literally everywhere, even on my leather chair

Jees,thats terrible!!
Prob not relevant, but just googles & found this.
Please be careful using candle warmers...if they are the kind that you put the jar in. If candles are not meant to be used in warmers, they could explode. After doing this for years, I was told this by Yankee Candle, when the wax components in one of my candles separated when I used it in a warmer.0 -

I would definitely email Yankee as well, with the pics and tell them exactly what happened:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
To be fair, I have used Yankee Candles for years and years and this has *never* happened, it's so strange why it would happen though.
I also can't believe how far it's got! I'm surprised it's not on the ceiling!

Sorry, I've had too much sugar, not taking a lot in!
