Has anyone who managed to switch to OES13 have it showing yet on their account.
I was told it would take around three weeks to show on my account but it would be backdated to the 1st of March.

i've switched from oes9 to oes13 today. no trouble in switching. changes aren't seen online...yet, but i gave my gas and electricity readings for today, so hopefully everything will backdate / start from today. they were the cheapest on energyhelpline.

thinking about my conversation, the only question i didn't ask was whether i be charged for switching / transfering over from oes9 to oes13. she didn't mention of anything, so hopefully not!

Yes you can. I was on Fixed Price Feb 2011. I phoned their CS and asked to be on ES13. Job done.

Well I've just done that (after e-mailing as well) and BOTH times I have been told that ES13 is 'only for new customers'.

I've looked at the details of the ES13 on your website and nowhere does it say this. Looking at posts on here it also looks like you'll switch some people but not others, depending on who you get to speak to on the phone!!

Well SP - I'm off to look at changing other suppliers, since you obviously don't value my custom enough to try and keep it.

Thoroughly disappointed with this treatment - someone from SP might reply to this - but I bet they won't.
Penny: I'm a little low on cash.
    Leonard: How much you got?
    Penny: Nothing!
Leonard: How can you walk around with no money?
Penny: I'm cute, I get by.
  • Just rang up Scottish Power.
Asked to change to ES13....expected a battle, but the lady said fine, no problem, and switched me.
Only downside is dd increasing from £52pm to £76pm

Used Energyhelpline this morning to see if Scottish Power online energy saver 13 is a good option for me (currently on online energy saver 9 and received email about their new online energy saver 9 (2012) offer) and it appears the comparison site is now using online energy saver 9 (2012) prices and NOT the old online energy saver 9 prices.....so much easier to compare. I tried using Energyhelpline a couple of weeks ago and it showed that OES13 was £95 more expensive than OES9, but now it says that OES13 is £35 cheaper for me....so something has changed!

OSE13 still the best option for me so phoned them up and switched, they said it could take 3-4 weeks but would be backdated to today.
That's probably because I rang them up and told them the data they were using was inaccurate - a switch takes about 6 weeks so to use data that would no longer apply in 6 weeks meant people could switch to what they thought was a better deal whereas when the deal actual started it could be more expensive. Glad they listened!

Well, I think I have managed to switch... Useless O2 coverage meant two dropped calls....

Initially I was told that OES 13 was "Only available to new customers" a quick mention of MSE soon changed that.

Tried to offer me a couple of capped tarrifs, one for homeowners only and one with some free but useless gizmo for switching things on and off via a web browser or iPhone...

No increase in DD from £45 but I am already £112 in credit anyway, last bill was beginning of this month.

Regarding the switch on the phone from OES9 to OES13 ,i too have had this verbally agreed on the phone. Has anyone yet had any paperwork in the post?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

swapped from oes9 to oes 13 on tuesday. have not had anything in the post but the my account page online
now says i am on oes 13. no problems with switching except i got an email saying my payments would go up by £23.
when i rang to question this was told that the increase was if i went on the 2012 oes9 and does not apply now i have switched to oes 13!!
    all details now correct online.
