What has any trade agreement between Aldi and their suppliers have to with the consumer? It makes no difference what agreements the retailer, wholesaler, or the manufacturer has in place. They cannot supersede the consumer's statutory rights. The consumer has a contract with the retailer, not the wholesaler. The retailer's contract is with whomever supplied to product to them. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

Dont disagree with him for gods sake or you will be accused of being a troll for saying something different to his opinion"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
Aah, I see, you don't want to engage in the debate, you just want to continue your trolling. That is up to you, all the luck with that, but if you have something to say, it would have been far more respectful and honourable to to address me directly, rather than pretend to be holier than thou. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0

Im not trying to be anything. Someone, again gave different advice to what you gave yet you you have to try and disagree with them
funny how when someone disagrees with you you care to call them a troll.
Im guessing you dont understand irony along with the science of pressure."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -

Hello again.
Once more...
You are having your very own "full and frank exchange of views" which is moving well away from the thread topic.

Aldi products normally all come with better warranties than the equivalent UK type companies. It is normally the case of phone a number and they will replace it straight away.
Yes the SOGA means aldi can be held liable but is it really worth the hassle when by phoning a number you'd have a replacement within days.
Some people just like being awquard.0 -

If it was that simple, wouldn't it have been better for Aldi to inform the OP of this option. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
They did...that's what the whole thread is about!Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
