    Exactly.. If Aldi were just going to send it off anyway then by sending it directly to them would have speeded things up.. As it is alternative advice given to people does not appear to be allowed on this forum.

    Think you missed my earlier point....who pays for the postage on a CAST IRON item if you send it to the manufacturer yourself.
    Will they refund postage?
