I set up an ISA a few months ago while it was at 2.8% (3% for Reward Current account customers)

Now it's gone up to 3.2% (I'm a Reward customer) can I get it...upgraded or something?
Probably been asked 30 times so far in the thread.

Yes. Ring them up or pop in to branch.

Quick question - already opened a Direct Saver 4 account (fully funded), can I still transfer my old ISA account (Direct Saver 2) to this new account and get 3% interest? Thanks.

You didn't actually need to open a new reward 4- you could have just added it into your reward 2 and upgraded the total to reward 4.

Now that you do have 2 isa's- you are allowed to either merge the isa's, or if you prefer to keep them seperate you can just phone Halifax and ask them to upgrade the reward 2 to 4.

The only reason you would ever consider keeping them seperate is if perhaps you maybe wanted to convert one of them at some stage to a fixed rate isa at higher rate

Hi All, My ISA money was transfered on Monday, I've added some funds to it now but there is still no way of taking any money out and transfering it to my web saver and I'm getting quite annoyed! Rung Halifax and they said it would update in a couple of days but still nothing! Even to set the transfer up with Halifax I had to set up a payment and the ISA is not showing on any of the drop down menu's! Has this happened to anyone else?

Mmm just read the changes that Halifax are proposing and it seems like from the 18th April they are making "improvements"and you will no longer be able to view, top up or manage investments online FOR A YEAR.

This is a absolutely crazy way to run a business.
InvestmentsAfter 18th April 2011 you won’t be able to top up, view or manage your investment accounts online.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and want to thank you for your patience as we build a better online banking service for the future. We plan to bring back an online investment service by April 2012 along with more enhancements over the coming months including a new mobile banking service.
Until then, you’ll still be able to manage all of your investments over the phone - we’ll make sure you have all the support you need.
    • To top up your ISA Investor call our dedicated team on 0800 011 3632. Lines are open Monday – Friday 8am to 8pm, Saturday 10am to 2pm.
    • For information about any of your other investments, please contact us.
    • To book an appointment with a financial adviser for a full financial review.
If you'd like to keep a copy of your most recent valuation, contribution history or any other investment information, please print these off on or by 18th April 2011. We'll continue to send your statements by post so you can keep track of your investments.

If any of you have an existing halifax variable isa on a lower rate than the new Reward 4 - 3% you can now convert it online

    Go to www.halifax.co.uk/isaupgrade

just need your existing isa details- don't even need to be registered for their online service.

Can I upgrade using the link above, and still top up for this year (to make it the full £5,100) before April 5th?
