Nah, they just don't have fast food outlets under the particular bridge he is from0

I can only assume that JJBens doesn't actually lead a life and just sits indoors all day waiting for Waitrose, Fortnums or Harrords to deliver their food.
Why would I buy food from those places? You can get everything they sell for less on your local high street.
If you must know, I get meat from my local butcher, veg from the market at use my local Asian cornershop for packaged goods. If I can manage it, I fail to see how others cannot.0 -
Lots of local shops in TROLLville then0

Hope you're not going back there.
I once got a KFC from Huddersfield and the chicken inside had RED in it - bit like a mini blood clot - it wasnt gushing with blood.
Anyway I complained only to be told it was maranade!! NO it wasn't, it was dead in the middle PLUS I HAD NO MARINADE!!!! Jeese.
Got a free burger, but I didn't eat it - kind of off putting. Never been since. Thank you to everyone!

I think everyone is entitled to grab a take away every so often. I always cook homemade dishes and my kids love to help to (although its limited as they're only 4 and 7 lol), however it's nice to have a treat every so often whether it's at a resturant or grab a take away.
I'm pretty sure no one on this thread is eating this stuff everyday for every meal
Some people want to treat their tastebuds to a bottle of wine or a beer, some people want to treat themselves to chocolate, and some want to treat themselves to a nice fat greasy (but tasty) burger.
Each to their own.
Best Burgers - McD's
Best Fries - Burger King
Best Milkshake - Wimpy
Best Chicken - KFC.....sometimes lol.
By the way, I hardly use the above, I like nipping on Just-eat lol:beer: Thank you to everyone!

Well it took over a week, but it's so pleasing to see this thread has developed in exactly the same way as every other thread that mentions a fast food restaurant.0

I am not the "food police". I am simply someone who cares about food, local business and helping others make the right decisions. I am not "lecturing" you or anyone else.
I will not apologise for speaking out against people eating fast food though. Supporting these so-called "restaurants" is WRONG and there is absolutely no excuse for it.
You act as though you HAVE to eat fast food, as though it is your only choice, when it is just as a result of your laziness and their marketing that make you walk through their doors to empty your wallet.
Please think twice about what I'm saying and make a change for the better.
What a stuck up opinionated post.
I happen to eat KFC every so often because I like the taste of it. It's not down to my laziness or lack of food knowledge but purely because it tastes nice. I'm well aware it's not healthy but I exercise regularly and I really don't see the issue as long as it's not regular. I also enjoy home cooking and I've eaten at some of the best restaurants in the country.0 -

Why are you picking on us fatsos and our culinary choices?
We are all going to die some day so why not fill your face up and enjoy it whilst waiting?0 -

I don't see what the advantage is of eating KFC over making your own. The food you make will be cheaper, healthier, easier and tastier. There is no reason at all to use the fast food restaurant, and they shall never disappear if people keep on using them "every now and then".
As for having "eaten at some of the best restaurants in the country". Frankly, saying something like that when you're also jumping to the defence of KFC is a lot like saying "it's alright being a !!!!!phile, because I work in a nursery".0
