You should have checked it when you got it, it would only take a second.
I've started doing this now, but was a bit wary at first because as I explained earlier you look a bit silly opening the box and peering into it, and I shouldn't have to be doing this in the first place.
@Bowling_For, you can see in the very post of mine that you quoted that I was looking for the contact details of the top brass and not the generic customer service line. I said "with a view to complaining to whoever rules the roost." Of course the KFC site was my first port of call but they only have the generic customer service line on there. I thought that by contacting Yum Food Brands directly I'd reach an elevated complaint line.
@sirmarcus, thanks for the help, I sent them an e-mail a few days ago and haven't heard anything back.0 -
Wrong again ! Harland Sanders was the Colonel and founder of KFC. Born on September 9, 1890 and died on December 16, 1980 RIP.
So is incorrect and should read 'Harland Sanders was the Colonel.'
Sirmarcus can't you see giving an email address for Harland Sanders was clearly a joke?0 -

No cos no smileys used to indicate joke and present rather than past tense used in posting. Other than that, it was a a very clear joke !!:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
How about instead referring to one of my previous posts on this thread when I stated ? :
What?! Bit random!
Because perhaps someone doesn't want to contact the Managing Director of the company to complain about something, which would be much better dealt with by the relevant department.
If you read my post you would see I am replying to the OP, who states a telephone number of KFC which they spent time finding, which is on the 'Contact Us' page of KFCs website. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

That's the number Yum Food Brands gave me which I assumed was an elevated complaint line as I'd went straight to them and they're the parent company. Didn't realise it was the customer service line that can be found on KFC's site, as the site was my first port of call and I then found the number for Yum Foods after a good amount of Googling so it had since slipped from my mind.
Anyway, this Martin Shuker fellow has completely ignored the complaint I sent to martin.shuker@yum.com. Cheers Martin, it's good to know you value the service of your customers by turning your nose up at one of them reporting 3 separate instances of a KFC outlet stitching them up.0 -

Only if I'm really in a hurry, really hungry and no decent alternative is available.
Thanks for sharing that with us all.You should have checked it when you got it, it would only take a second.

I hate to say it, but it serves you right for eating in such a horrible establishment.
Why bother going out of your way to get KFC? Why not make your own chicken at home? It'll be cheaper, healthier and tastier!
People who eat in these dives deserve all they get.0 -

Because sometimes quick convenience food is just that? Y'know, quick and convenient.
I like to cook, but sometimes if I'm out and it's time for a meal, but I don't have the time or money handy for a full restaurant fare, I'll pop into somewhere and eat.
Besides, any time I've tried to make something with breadcrumbs, the coating has never turned out as nice as that which surrounds a KFC nugget.
Besides, who really, between finishing work at, say, 5:30 and having a show to get to which starts at 6:30 says, "Right, I'm hungry, and I need to get something to eat before I go into the show. I know, I shall go home, defrost some chicken, marinade it, produce a breadcrumb and seasoning mix, bake/fry it as appropriate, and then eat it and head back into town."
I mean, if you can do that in the space of an hour, especially when it's half an hour each way on the bus, well done!0 -

You did however forget the "You can make your own!" brigade but I'll forgive you that.I hate to say it, but it serves you right for eating in such a horrible establishment.

The key is planning. Don't allow spur of the moment to dictate your diet. Do your body a favour and plan your eating in advance. Why could you not prepare the chicken in advance so it would be ready to eat at a time that suits?0
