Nationwide (merged)

I have recently had Nationwide send me a second rejection letter, to which I am not happy. The second letter was the same as the first, just with a different date on. Now the next step is court, and I am as skint as a mother trucker, being a student and all, and need to stump up £120 for the amount that I want to claim. I was just wondering if anyone had previous experience and knew how long the whole process took? As any money I use to go to court will be coming out of what I need to pay rent!?!? Parents are tighter than a ducks behind, so they are no help!!!
Many Thanks in Advance

Hi, this is my first time.I have spent many long hours reading every ones stories and comments, soooo much to take in.
I am in the process of trying to claim back £700 from Nationwide.
I have received a letter saying we understand your concerns blah blah blah but are not prepared to pay you any money basically.
I have sent the first two letters and have just posted a letter threatening court action.
It has just hit me what a scary thought that is.
Has anyone had the same experience with Nationwide? Im hoping they will cough up before getting to the court stage.
Please advise as im losing my bottle and fast.:D0 -
Dont worry im new at this two but you have to remeber to keep your nerve its hard i know i have the same thing going on with Lloyds i have now sent them 3 letters i hoping they will settle b4 i have to take them to court to but just remeber we are all going threw what you are going threw just stick at it and hold your nerve0

just to reassure people, i calimed and won from nationwide. i received the standard our charges are fair letter, so filed at court. they acknowledged late, stating they were going to defend. then, on day 28, they paid up!! so keep it going, and with nationwide you do have to take it most of the way, but they will pay up!!!!0

Nationwide may acknowledge (could even be after the 14 days are up!). my expereince, they did not acknowledge within the first 14 days, so i issued judgement ( i didnt use MCOL). i received a copoy of judgement from the court, and then received copy of their acknowledgement!! at the end of the second 14 days, they paid up!! keep to your timescale, if they havenet acknowledged after 14 days, am sure you can issue judgement through MCOL. the courts will keep you informed it they make any response! good luck and it shouldnt be too long before you are paid!!0 -
many thanks for the advice it going to be a long 24 hours.the way i see it is if i dont here anything by midnight i have won!!!! havent i?0
