Sorry to be a pain if this has been answered already but I have been searching for 40 mins and cant find it anywhere.
If I'm claiming credit card and current account charges does it have to be separate letters or can i send 1 letter and 2 schedules of claims?
thanks in advance

Hi, I am new to this, I have received a standard letter back from Nationwide saying their charges are lawful & in their terms & conditions which is obviously a standard letter.
I have sent them a 7 day letter attaching court papers I will submit if they don't repay my bank charges.
Has anyone experience of Nationwide? Will they pay before court? If not, how long does it take between submitting your claim & actually getting the money back?
Help appreciated!
Max
I won two claims with them on 27th April they will pay up the closest they can to the 28 days and wont offer a defense except that they have already paid you. if you hold more than one account with them they will be sneaky and put small amounts of money in each hoping you wont notice.0 -

Its 40 days this saturday since i sent my first letter and £10 cheque to equest details of my bank charges from Nationwide. I've made 4 calls to my branch. The last one was yesterday as i still have not received any details of my bank charges and they haven't cashed my £10 cheque. I told the man on the phone that if i didn't hear anything by this weekend i would inform the Information Commissoner as this is a breach of the Data Protection Act. Has any one else had this hassle. I've been an active reader of this site for a couple of months now, and i seem to pick up its after the 2nd letter when asking for charges that theres a problem, but i can't even get these.
Has anyone else got any other advice. I'd be most greatful0 -

Hi Sylvia,
I am at the same position as you, although the 28 days is up on 19th May.
Just checked my account today and there is a correction of £973 which is just my charges.
Just wondering if anyone else has been in this position?
Are they likely to pay the interest and court fees as well?Or will I have to accept the £973 as part payment and continue with the judgement on Friday?
Thanks

Just heard on BBC working lunch programme that a judge at one court has threatened the banks with awarding damages to claiments due to them wasting time , by using delaying tatics and then settling just before court date.
Puts a bit more pressure on them to settle earlier?0 -
