RECIEVED FULL PAYMENT BACK FROM NATIONWIDE A DAY BEFORE I WAS DUE TO ISSUE A JUDGEMENT0 -
Just sit tight and wait for the 28 days to pass. Nationwide said they 'intended' to defend the case I put forward but they gave in and paid up before the 28 days were up. The next step in your case is for them is to either present their defence or pay up. If they present a defence the court will ask you to fill in an allocation questionnaire. Don't worry!! Unfortunately there is nothing you can do, just wait.0

Hi all
Got my letter from the court today saying that Nationwide have acknowledged and intend to defend all of the claim.
They have got until 9th April to put in there defence, so that should be interesting!
Just gotta wait now. I'll keep this thread updated.
Regards

I just thought I would let you know that I never got to the stage of filling in the Allocation Questionnaire as Nationwide paid up before the 28 days were up, but like you I asked the question and read up about it and printed off the material just incase.
All the best to you!!
I put in a claim for 4560.00 and got 2932.00 back in my account this week, really made up, but im going to try to get the rest. I have posted at the end of this thread asking what do I do now, do you know where I go from here ?
Thanks0 -

What stage are you currently at?0 -
I am only claiming £405 (inc interest) ... whats the odds of them defending? do you think they will just pay up?
I have already moved all my banking away, my account has £1.30 in it0 -

I posted a letter to my local Nationwide branch two days ago reclaiming bank charges and had it returned to me in the post today. Appatantley, my postal order should have been made out to Nationwide Corporate Account, not Nationwide Building Society. :rolleyes2*´¨)

They're a devious lot aren't they? I made my cheque out to Nationwide Building Society and they cashed it with no problems.
Get the feeling they're trying to stall you??
