Hi all
Nationwide acknowledged my claim with mcol on 3rd July. Believe that they have 28 days to file a defence.
Is this the stage where they usually pay up?Amount being claimed from Nationwide - £2794.50 + £524.09 in interest = £3318.59 + court fees = £3438.59
lodged with Moneyclaim online 29/06/2007
Amount to be claimed from HSBC - £730.00 (charges only). Email sent to customer relations 01/07/2007 & letter sent by recorded delivery 02/07/2007 (to be on the safe side!!!!!!)

hi this is my first time on this site.
My question to you is i have recieved my bank charges but i don't agree with them. The real question is i get my car insurance took out by d/d and my car finance since then i have gone into arrears with my car finance the car company want all the arrears paid in full or they say that they will repocess my car my car insurance has now been cancelled because nationwide cancelled all my d/d without informing me what can i do about all this
Do you think they have taken more? Did they not send statements out to you? Do they not add up?
As for your finance company...
Have they applied a late payment charge to your account? You can claim it back in the same way. Unfortunately your finance is secured against your car so if you don't pay they can take the car off you!
Insurance claim...
I think you really need to call in the Financial Ombudsman here! Make a complaint about the bank.

How long is the usual wait for a court date.
Mycol ended on the 8th June ie the 28 days were up and they had filed a defence.... I got sent a form to say they had paid half the money, which I 'partially' accepted but that's it!!! Its been a month...Light bulb moment April 07: [strike]£3,655 [/strike] Oct 07: [strike]£2,220[/strike] now 0 - 3 years of Uni debt to be added at a later datenow at Uni as a Mature student -update: now has a First Class BA!0 -
Hi,
I've just sent my first letter to Nationwide.
I kept delaying till I received a letter from nationwid threating me to pass my file to debt collectors.
Wish me luck.0 -
Claimed: £3003.20 (inc court costs @£120.00) Two Accounts Have faith everyone claiming from Nationwide, don't give up - they seem to be paying 4/5 days before default date. I have felt defeated many times but the success stories kept me going. Nationwide has credited one of my accounts with £1236.00. I called Member Services to say thanks but not enough as my claim was £3003.20, The advisor, Christian, was soooo helpful and promised to post a cheque for remainder as account charges apply to account that is now closed - don't know why they couldn't just pay into active account! who cares as long as I get my money.0

Hi
congrats on winning your money back!! :T
Can I ask what you mean by default date? I'm still waiting for the court date at the moment.. .I'm hoping once I get that then I will know that I'll get the rest of the money back... I've got half only and that was after starting court proceedings. (spent it already - £200.00!).
My Credit Card's court date is for September - and I started that back in February!!!

Got a full witness defense statement sent from one of the nationwide solicitors - they claim they have already refunded me (£0.05p) but as I have told them several times, they were looking at the wrong account (I also have a joint acc with them).
My court case is in 10 days and have not received anything back - I feel a little beaten here as I just feel that I will go to court and lose. I am writing one final letter to tell them they are looking at wrong account.
Anyone else been sent the witness statement defending?
Rgds

please help
i was under impression that if bank charges got as far as court that it would be in MY local county court which is only 10 miles away, not miles away in northampton. Does anyone know the reason for this
