Thankyou very much bandit for the speedy response. There are a few options for the next stage, do I continue my attemps for the charges (plus interest), just the charges, or do I make them an offer of cash that I would be willing to accept if they can pay in 14 days?

How much longer do you think it would take from this stage in order to see any of it (If I'm successful)?

You have taken alot of worry off of my mind mate, thanks alot.

    :D

  • Ray Ray,
I also got this letter reply to it telling them u will take them to court, u will get another letter, saying blah blah blah, then using MOCL take them to court, money is also tight for me and the £80 it cost me was a struggle, i then got a letter from there solicitors saying they are going to defend the whole amount, and had 28 days to do this, 24 days later i check my flex accont on the off chance and found they had deposited the full amount of bank charges into my account but not the interest or court fee! to b honest i am happy with this! dont give up its scary but what a feeling when you find that money in your account!!!
    Good luck!:T

    Hiya

We sent off for our statements from Nationwide, recieving them 29 days later...

Sent off the demand for repayment and schedule of charges on May 1st...
14 days later, send the same letter, again to the Data Protection team, to the same address, registered

and have had no response / correspondence at all.

As they've not bothered to respond AT ALL to our letters, do I just start legal action or give them a third chance? All letters have gone to Data Proection / Legal Compliance, but not a named individual...

    Help! x

The Data Protection address is really only for the initial request for charge information. Hopefully the subsequent letters have been passed on, but I wouldn't be completely sure.

The addresses for banks for Initial Approach and Letter Before Action are in the Reclaim Help thread.

If the letters have been signed for, you may as well proceed to the next stage as per the article.

    Hi

You need to start the court process as they have had enough chances to answer you.
 I too am claiming from Nationwide and they like to drag it out as long as possible.
I am at the acknowlegment stage with them and they have 13 days left to give me my money 4500 or i can press for judgement.
I started my claim on mcol on the 5th may it was deemed served on the 10th may have waited two weeks now still says acknowledged so hope its all over soon
Dont give up take them all the way :j :j :j
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR CLAIM. ITS YOUR MONEY
