  • Hi everybody

I've called the court (the guy who answered was very friendly and helpful, which is cool) and he basically told me to write away or fax the court a letter to request a later court date.

I'm going to do that today, stating that the date given to me was one I originally said I couldn't make. Fingers crossed that it's all okay!

Can somebody please do me the honour of PMing me the details of whom to send my DPA letter too? Is it the local branch, or is there a central HQ to send it too?

Appreciate a PM if you could do, thanks will be given :)
  • I am reclaiming bank charges on behalf of my son who is away in the army. I have a couple of quiries.

I have now recevied the statements with my £10 back. Thank you Barclays!

His statements are slightly confusing me.They start witth unathorised o/d fee but then change to paid referal. I am assuming this is one and the same. When doing the spreadsheet to l have to write it as written on the statements or change to unathorised o/d fee. Also l beleive unpaid out to be unpaid standing order? Thank you

  • Hi

How do I go about applying for judgement by default? The 14 days is up Wednesday and I want to be on the ball and ready to pounce.

  • I read someone say it had taken 5 months, but my sister with Natwets took around 7 weeks.

For those that have been sucessful or are about to become succesful with Barclays, how long from the first letter has it taken to get that far?

    Many thanks in advance.

  • Every case is different the and the answer is how long is a piece of string!
  • I think a few peeps would be interested to know that I've just totted up my interest for a claim of £2375 dating back to 2001 and the interest alone is £577.52  , this is a huge amount to be charged, I WANT IT BACK!!

Letter has already been despatched to Barclays, I'll sit and wait, by all accounts they don't seem that keen to pay out so quick like the others. Natwest seem like they trip over themselves to give it to you, But not Barclays  , just my luck!!

    Yeh tell me about it!

Al Mac I don't like unlawful charges, about 50% of my overdraft has to be charges or interest from.

All of my overdraft plus boatloads more for me!!
