Hi again

since sending my letter dated 25/6 to Martin Bennett http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=5566009&postcount=2177 I've not heard a bloody word.
I've given them extra time as I guess they are busy dealing with other claims but it's near enough a month now .. any thoughts on what I do next please

Hiya, as you know, i'm in court this friday and have still not heard a peek from Barclays....i have been trying to call them and i have found 4 different numbers for their litigation dept and each time i ring, the voicemail kicks in. Is this normal practise for them ...Does anyone else here have any more numbers for barclays litigation dept. that you wish to share with me?????

Just spoke to someone on 0207 116 1943. got told by a very helpful man my claims being handled by someone else, and he gave me her direct line phone number. Gotta call monday when shes back in office....court date 9th aug (only a prelim' hearing but i'm guessing they don't know that....and i'm not telling)

i have sent my letter to barclays requesting statements recieved with a month.
i have counted my unpaid referalls and have £1005
i have done my template letter off here to reclaim charges and photocopied relevant statements but dont really want to send it to my local branch so where else would i send it

also i havent set up a parachute bank account as this account is what i use everything for, should i be worried?

:mad: well i had two pieces of information come through today in regards to my account, the first was via email from MCOL who state that if a defence is not issued by Barclays i can complete form N225 which is on the site. the things is i will not know when they have or have not done their defence of claim within the 28 days until i get a letter after the damn time limit!!:mad:

the other piece of info i had was from the Leicester where all these automated laters are generated which states that because my account is now £1300.00+ over drawn they are going to hit me with 3 ammounts of £30.00!! and they have the damn nerve to say for me to contact them to see how we can stop this happening again! the simple solution they can come up with is pay me back ALL the money & interest!
That reminds me the total charges they have taken so far & interest before todays update is £4281.89. ****ing Vultures at this rate i will be looking to set an IVA up next month!:mad:

The person i contacted was Katherine Ashton on 0207 1164664. This was back in April so dont know if they have changed or not but she was fantastic. Icouldnt fault her. She was very nice and polite. But then again she knew i had her by the short and curlies.:rotfl:

If you do phone try at 9am thats when i called.

Dont bother to post your letters. Just do as i did and HAND deliver them to your local branch. That way you know they have your letters.

Just walk in and hand it to someone saying "Can i just leave this with you please" if they ask what it is just say.. "if you open it you will find out." and walk away. DONT get into conversation about it, just walk away.

It worked for me and i got nearly £4000 back in April, plus £1000's for other people.

By the way..... in doing this you will walk out of that bank with the biggest fattest grin on your face ever... trust me.:rotfl:

I called back later this afternoon and spoke to a chap named Dino, he has been mentioned before on this thread and was told that Kate Ashton was dealing with my claim and she would contact me in the morning...10 Minutes later i get an email with an offer for my full claim and a few quid more!!! WA-HEY!!!!! !!!!! Thanks for the advice Vanman!!!.....for everyone else trying to contact Barclays, use the above numbers and if you can get to speak to Dino, he was the only person through this entire process did anything remotely helpful!!!!

Thank god, this is VERY nearly over, just going to wait for the money to hit and clear my account before i speak to the courts!!!
