i too am taking barclays to court, they offered £2150 against a claim of £3062,
i'm going for the full amount.,
i refer you to my post title, LINCOLN COUNTY COURT/ABUSE OF PROCESS.0 -
Hay all.
This is my second post so I hope I'm in the right place.
I'm taking Barclays to court to reclaim £1995 in charges and I've got
to the stage where they have entered a defense.
The problem is I missed Martins template for the "particulars of claim" and
entered my own wording. DOH!
This is what I put:
"I am claiming all of the default charges for the past six years that have been applied to my bank account which I consider unlawful".
Does anyone know if this will hinder my case and if so is there any way
of changing it?0 -
The telephone number I have is 0845 6090806.
Good luck with your claim.0 -

I am coming up to the third letter of threating court and am getting really apprehensive...... again this is with BARCLAYS, have just read a few of your replies and am getting quite confident now.....keeping fingers crossed!!!!!!0

Dear Oh Dear.... I hope Im not reiterating anyones post - there is a LOT of reading in here alone.
Anyway......this is a quick query really... On the 26th June I sent in to Barclays my letter inc the "fee" - (for a list of charges ) - have not heard a thing yet... but on reading - I think it was very early in this thread.. that the letter should have been sent to Barclays head office address......whereas I sent mine to the 'usual' address Im used to dealing with.. ie, the local head branch.. Question - Have I done wrong - Will this hold things up ??? Thank you. SA0 -
Hi all am going down the claim road, I have received my tenner back and all my statements, totalled up the fees and sent off claiming for them stating the two week period they have to reply, I received a letter back thanking me for my letter and saying that "sometimes it takes longer to fully investigate a complaint.however we do aim to find a solution within 4 weeks.if we cant we will let u know and a full report or an update on our progress will be sent to you within 8 weeks. Should i just wait or should i write back after the two weeks that it says on the website?0

Haven't got that number so maybe I spend another day with my ear to the phone0 -
Hi All,
I've been reading through this thread with interest having received a court date for a directions hearing in august.
Following several peoples advice I called 0207 116 1943 hoping to speak to the litigation dept and fingers crossed to get a settlement.
It appears that this number is NOT being answered.
I then tried 0207 116 4753 (krysta) - this goes to voice mail and informs you that she can only speak to people that she is dealing with.
Any other numbers? Or should I just concentrate on my court pack?
Thanks!
really fed up now took 6 months of waiting around for BARCLAYS !0 -
