    Thanks for the advice guys!

    Today the claim still states:

(Barclays Barclays Bank PLC Issued(28/03/2007) Start)

Mean anything to anyone? 14 days today.

    Thanks
  • Filed my MCOL claim last night! Ironically I used my Barclays overdraft to pay for the court fees :)

Same thing happened to me last Wednesday. The MCOL court in Northampton sent me a bundle of papers this morning. The defence by Barclays the notice of transfer to my local court and a new addition the judge at Northampton has ruled that the allocation questionaire be dispensed with??? I called my local court and they told me its a new thing and they were not sure what when or how would happen next!!!! If they don't know then what chance do we joe public stand. Apparently its so new that the court staff can't advise what I should be doing next!!!

  • Hiya,

I just got the same letter from Barclays - a "goodwill gesture" of £300 - against my claim of £1440!

Do I need to inform MCO of this "part payment" and any advice on where I go from here would be appreciated?

    Many thanks

I've got the same thing!?!!?!! I knew they would defend it but kinda hoped they'd forgot about me...

Did they actually send you the allocation questionnaire to fill in pitprop? Dispensed..Sounds like the judge has said that you don't need to file a A.Q...maybe....

i got a letter today offering FULL payment £3482.29.
couldnt believe it. though i was in for a long wait. i dont want to sound greedy but i wasnt totally happy as i had £270 of charges to go on from charges they levied after i started the claim. so i phoned them and spoke to a WONDERFUL lady called Katherine Ashton( i wish everyone at barclays was as nice as her) i asked her what they intended to do about the other charges and without hesitation she said "thats not a problem sir we can just add them on to the total" i was gob smacked..

I sent my first letter on 5th October so it took a long time but got there in the end.
