Barclays Bank (merged)

Hi all,
I took my completed Allocation Questionnaire to the court about 10 days ago although the final date for submission was not until yesterday, so presumably with Barclays usual late dealings, they will not have submitted it until last thing yesterday!
Does anyone have any idea how long it usually is before the next stage? Presumably the court will write to me with a court date and more paperwork?
I know I could ring the court but don't want to bother them unnecessarily as they seemed so harrassed when I went in there last week!
(plus I know you nice peeps will be happy to help if you can!!)

26.03.07 + 5 + 14, which go up to 28 if the bank acknowledges. Bank holidays mean you probably will have to wait a few days longer, but it will tell you on MCOL whether you can serve judgment yet or not - it simply won't let you if you are too early.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Hi everyone, know this is a bit unrelated, but after watching that Whistleblower show a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that Barclays have been charging me £10 every month for several years to have an additions account (basically a bank account with 'extras' that you'll never use - a cheeky way to get an extra tenner off customers!).
I'm one of these people that can never be bothered to look at my bank statements and always presumed in the past that this additions charge was just like the normal penalty charges for going over my overdraft limit.
The problem is, I would never have agreed to upgrade my account to an additions account if I'd have known that it would be costing me £10/month for it. I reckon that when I popped into my branch one day they sneekily upgraded my account without my permission, and I've been paying for it ever since without noticing. Sceptics might think that I must have known and am just trying to get more money out of Barclays (I'm also claiming £3,000 for bank charges) but I honestly didn't realise they were taking this money each month. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to claim this £10/month back?
Man I hate Barclays, I've had an account with them for about 20 years since I was a kid and they are nothing but trouble. Problem is, that most of them are the same!
Any help would be appreciated, cheers!0 -
Hello
I wrote to Barclays to ask for details of charges over the last 6 years and enclosed the cheque for £10. Barclays returned the cheque and said that they would send the information in due course, free of charge. It's now been 40 days and I still haven't received my statements. I phoned them today and they have noted my complaint. I believe the next step is now to write to the Information Commissioner to investigate. Is there a draft letter to the IC anywhere on here that I can use? Am I following the correct course of action?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer0 -
We've gone through all the stages of claiming our money back form Barclays and thought we were there ... then they've gone and defended on the last possible day.
Anyone able to give us some idea how things unfold from here.
Will we need to attend court??
Where will this be??
Is it worth getting legal representation??
Wanna see this through to a winning end result!!0 -

Reply to the address on the letter they sent you as they are dealing with your claim...;)0 -
I also got my cheque returned but no statements from the bank, the 40 days are now up.
Can anyone help me, what do i do from here?

Hi everyone,
I am just letting you know that i claimed money back from barclays with using the template letters on this site. It was so easy, i started claiming at the end of feb and by april 2nd, i received a letter saying they will give me £985 when i asked for £1315, i accepted and i will receive in 7 days! it could not be simpler. Anyone worrying about asking for there money back, dont worry! Barclays were so nice about it, and were very efficient!!0
