Well done!!!!
How far did you have to go before they coughed up?0 -
My new court date has been set for May 18th.
I'm just wondering how close to that date I can expect to get, presuming I hear from Barclays?
Have you recently won your claim against Barclays? How did it work out - did they contact you with an offer? Did you contact them?
Please give me your experiences!! :beer:0 -
I had a court date set for next month so nearly all the way!

Hey Drewster,
Look at Mollyjaks posting - she got a call from Barclays last Thursday (22nd) and had a court date of Monday - she got full settlement from them!!!
There's hope for us yet!!
Congrats on getting your new date through too!

I sent a letter to my local branch and then to the address on here to request my statements. Think both letters were sent around the 5th March. I didn't enclose the £10 in the letters and sent them recorded delivery so they definately got them. I haven't received an acknoledgment letter for either of the requests yet, should I be worried?
I posted my letters (two accounts with Barclays) on 8 March, recorded delivery, which have been signed for. Also enclosed two cheques. So far, no letters, no cheques cashed, no statements. Wonder which one of us hears first?!?!?!
Good luck

Mollyjaks success story is on post number 1151!! "Showmethemoney" has also won recently - she was the one that turned up to court and agreed with the judeg that £2.50 was a fair claim so the judge awarded a win to her for the full amount minus £2.50 per claim. Successes are filtering through slowly but surely!
For me, I wait patiently for my court date on 6th June...0 -
Hi Guys,
I have started the process a few weeks ago. I requested my back details because I had mislaid one years statements and sent a £10 cheque off. This was returned and shortly afterwards I received the relevant information.
I then formulated my claim and sent two letters in one envelope (one for my own account and one for a joint account - I had not requested any info on the joint account as I had all relevant statements) and delivered them by hand to my local bank. I had a reply re my own account saying they were looking into it etc so posted the "Not a satisfactory answer reply" and also "a not received a reply letter" for the joint account and stated that I would take the matter to my local county court. These were again delivered by hand in one envelope. Recieved a reply re my own account offering £400 and nothing re the joint account.
I need to reply.
In my previous letter i put "I intend to claim the full amount claimed together with interest up to the date of proceedings through the county court" and later "and therefore the xyz local county court will rule in my favour"
Can I then file online or do I need to send another letter stating exactly how I intend to file the claim. Can I just go ahead with the joint claim as I have not received a reply to that?
Kind regards
Wiz0
