Does all this busineess also work for credit card accounts?
I have a credit card account on which I have incurred late payment fees and overlimit fees over the last six years. Can I claim them back by the same method?0 -

Hi
I am not sure about the PPI but you can def claim the admin fees and charges from both GE Money and Studio.
Just need to follow the steps ie requesting statements if u dont already have them and then sendng the letters in this article.
Thanks0 -
The PPI is completely different. This is another service you have bought as part of the card. You cannot claim this back. The £15/£20 admin fees can be reclaimed. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Hello people! I had great success claiming back my bank charges so I thought I'd try my credit/store cards. I have a DMP with CCCS so none of the money will be in my hand but it will reduce my debts which is ace.
I had statements for all of 'em so I merrily sent off the first letter, all that have replied (Barclaycard/Ikea/Capital One) so far have said the same thing that they will refund each charge down to the OFT recommended £12 charge. I think this is acceptable so have agreed.
The only one that hasn't said this is Halifax, with regards to their Visa I have received a letter saying I agreed to the T & C, they have reduced their charges from August 2006, in view of the above tough luck.
So, what do I do now? They won't deal with it over the phone so I need to write back.0 -

Hi..... quick question, a few years ago I had a natwest account that was heavily overdrawn and in the end I managed to get a loan and close the account.
They charged me so much throughout the account, so I was wondering has anyone managed to claim back charges on closed accounts?
Sorry if this thread has been done before but I couldnt see it!0 -
penalty charges with your credit cards?
Have just received my statements back but not sure exactly what I can and can't claim back - people just keep saying penalty charges!
I understand it is Late payments, also going over limit, what else is there?
Thanks in advance0 -
