es you can. Send them a Subject Access Request. They will hae to send you all details of your account for the last six years then you follow usual procedure. I got mine from Capital One. Closed the account 4 years ago and bout to go to MCOL stage0

Hi everyone,
I have had a number of credit cards managed by MBNA over the years but unfortunately I can't remember exactly how many or who they were with. Definitely the usual eg Abbey, Virgin, MBNA but there may be others I've forgotten. I don't have account details or anything! I was thinking about writing to them and asking for details of all my accounts and providing one £10 cheque.
Has anyone taken this type of approach with MBNA before and did it work?
Any help would be gratefully received!
Thanks to you all for this amazing site - keep up the good work - you helped me make a successful claim against the RBS!:rotfl:0 -
Its certainly worth a try to start with or you would have to write separate cheques and letters.0

Have i got the wrong end of the stick? Can i claim my charges back from my Credit card companys for things like late payments and over limit charges? Also they have just reduced the charge fee and does that make a differance to what i can claim?Abbey Account 1 & 2

Yes you can.
I'm currently claiming back from a total of 5 current and ex cards.
Had a positive respose with Barclaycard, immediately refunding £291 through a 'good will gesture' and am of course now pursuing for the rest I am claiming for via claim/court letter two.
However on the other end of the scale Marbles(HFC) are flately refusing to offer me anything.0 -
Hi,
I am interested in claiming back charges that go back 6 years. My problem is I have been with Abbey for 6 months (only £30 charges so far), Lloyds for around 18 months (£1000 approx), and before that I was with Barclays Bank who I know charged me all over the place, but will they still have my statements? Even though I don't bank with them?0
