    Lee,

    Thanks for your email today with a new unlock code. The code you have sent me 70847437 does NOT work! So what do we do now???

    If this handset cannot be unlocked, can I just have a refund please. That would perhaps be the best way of sorting this nightmare out.

  • I have had the same problem. I filled in the form correctly and have now had 6 emails telling me that my IMEI number is wrong and to fill out the form yet again. I really am getting sick of their customer service. I have taken photographs and screen shots for them to still tell me it is wrong. What have other people done to get this sorted? I am going away next week and want to get this sorted before I am on my business trip?

    Thank you!

    Lee,

    Thanks found the email and YES it worked, finally. I really appreciate your help and for getting it right! I'm convinced had it not been for your intervention this would still be unresolved.

    Vodafone are currently under an OFCOM investigation for the terrible way they handle complaints, it might be worth finding the Vodofone MD's email address and sending him a complaint which you cc to OFCOM for their info.

    It just might spur someone into action and give OFCOM more proof of just how useless Vodafone is.
    Funny heh..:mad:
    I launched one too, but after explicitly explaining full documentation of ALL of their conduct, including warning over recording calls to them, all so sudden, I reached correct department, got my credit back and PAC as what they pushed me to...:p

    Hi there Lee,

    I am trying to get my phone unlocked. I am being dragged left, right and centre with e-mails, calls, contradicting information. After numerous phone calls and e-mails, I thought I had it sorted;

    2 days ago, I received an e-mail telling me that my phone was now unlocked. But 10 minutes ago I received an e-mail from NUC resolutions, telling me that they cant give me an unlock code, as my phone is not a valid vodafone uk device (ref: 1849915).

    I'm extremely confused as what to do here, as you can imagine. How come people on here are talking about been given an unlock code? An e-mail from vodafone told me that my phone was unlocked. Why wasn't I given an unlock code. Would I need one still?

    This is getting very tiresome & It is ridiculously frustrating talking on the phone to vodafone re: this. I'm tearing my hair out

    Many thanks in advance for your help,

    Tom
