    Hi

I have recently got some statements through from monument card services and their covering letter says that the fees and charges were clear in there terms and conditions when I applied for the card. Are they just saying this to put me off trying to claim the charges back? or does this stop me claiming?

Any advise would be great, Thanks

Can anyone help please? - Have just received the Allocation Questionnaire and defence statement. The bank's solicitors are asking for further information and clarification and have given a date when they want this by - 16 March. My problem is that I leave the country for five weeks on Saturday 17 March and I don't want to send them a 'rushed' reply in case I make a mistake, I find it difficult to get my head around all the paperwork and court jargon as it is. Is it possible to put things on hold until I get back?

Which bank would this be Natwest or RBS? if so it sounds like you have recieved the CPR part 18 request. let me know and I will advise you what to do.
the way forward is the consumer action group .co.uk

Thanks for replying feedering. The bank is RBS. Any advice would be gratefully received.
  • Hi, Really need some help cos I think Barclays are trying to pull a fast one! Sent off the template letter requesting bank charges info from the Data Protection manager. Received a letter back tooday saying,

"The bank is not under obligation to present information according to any particular formant. However, we can send copy statments and these will be supplied to you WITHOUT CHARGE."

They sent back my £10.00 cheque. I think this is strange..... Should I reply insisting they provide just the information regarding the bank charges or do I wait for the bank statements? Would appreciate your help as I'm new to all this!!!

    Many thanks in advance.

Its easier to read and find the information you need on statements so you are best to wait on the statements which they have 40 days to provide.
