Maybe a deal with Orange or another company that they will close the business and will no longer use Orange colour in their promotions.

    Who knows???

    I got a query.

My balance is now £3.05 after donating.
    Should I donate once more?

That will bring me down to -0.05 balance.
    Should I do that?

Can somebody suggest a charity that takes less than £3?

I can only send text to 84858...

No, it's nothing to do with Orange whatsoever

It's quite clearly written on the website (and the thread title) that TDC decided to withdraw from the UK market - which is unsurprising as the operation wasn't gaining enough customers that spent any actual money.

As a result, easyGroup cancelled the partnership agreement; Stelios' initial allegations about TDC's management appear to have been removed from easy.com ...

easyMobile never launched in 9 of the projected territories, closed in Netherlands earlier in the year, and the German one appears to be continuing as callmobile.de

I think you will find 84010 Yorks air ambulance will also work at £1.50 - code YAAC

If you overdraw you will likely get a £5 fine eventually if they follow T&Cs to the letter.

If you are closing your account rather than just letting it lapse by time the balance will likely change to a £2 negative because of a system problem they have. Customer service will correct if you tell them - also on 01438 846030.

I have two numbers to switch from EasyMobile to TMobile, the first one switched last Monday OK. I requested the second one to switch next Monday. I chose TMobile because they offer international roaming. TMobile took one week in both cases to switch number. They warned me that I could lose service for up to one day but in first case I did not notice any loss of service. I had one phone loaded with old Sim and another with new Sim.

Last night I successful used 84858 to donate £24 to charity and get rid of my balance. I had auto top up with EasyMobile (something I will miss) so I guess this worked for me but may not for people who do not have auto top up.

I transferred my one number to a 3 phone I bought for £20, that went through very smoothly, the woman at Three was most helpful.

Yesterday I called up Virgin which I've had a number with them for over 3 years, this has been my main mobile phone service and still will be, and asked if I could transfer in my easyMobile number as it is a very very good number, even though I've been with them for 3+ years as other networks only allow you to port in within a certain time frame, they said it was not a problem, and my number will switch over on the 8th December.

Keeping my old (EasyMobile) number and my Easy Mobile credit was running low.

Went to www.shimmerbright.com to top up my account with the minimum amount.

After entering my card details everything seemed ok until I hit the final submit and then I had a timed out notice.

    Tried again - same result.

Called Shimmerbright's help line. Was told they were having payment problems and the onlined attempts to top up my card weren't showing. The call centre operative took my card details and the minimuim payment was made.

I checked my account via the shimmerbright site and all seemed ok. One small credit added to my account and it still shows this today.

BUT on checking my bank account on-line (Current Account), it shows shimmerbright (Easy Mobile) have taken 2, what I consider unauthorised payments. Now it's a disputed transaction scenario where you can't contact shimmerbright at weekends and my banks is sending me disputed transaction forms to complete. (They are not available on-line).

Therefore if your still an EasyMobile PAYG user and you want to top up your credit to tide you over a few days - do it by phone.

Once you click on unlock Nokia, you will need to switch back to English by clicking on the British Flag.

Have you tried putting your T-Mobile SIM in the phone, maybe easyMobile phones were only GID1 locked and not GID2 locked (or the other way around - I forget).
