hi there
I sent my letter to penny berryman by recorded delivery on the 31st of jan expecting there to be no probs on the 25th of feb i thought i would check to see if they had recieved the letter, they hadn't called royal mail they said that large companies recieve hundreds of letters per day therefore only one signature is obtained for the whole bundle. A Good chance your letter could get "lost" this way . So i Rang Copy Statements Unit and fortunatly they were only about five mins drive from where i live. So i re-printed the letter and hand delivered it on the 1st of march getting a signature from what i now know to be a very nice lady,on the third of march i recieved my statements (two days a record i think) worked all the charges out and i am posting my letter to my local branch on monday for a total of £2691.14 includig interest
The address i used was:
Cory Statements Unit
Swallow House
10 Swallow Street
Birmingham
B1 2AL
tel. 0121 633 5411

Sorry, I haven't read the whole Lloyds thread, I am in a bit of a state today as I am trying to sort the OH's affairs (MCOL Capital Online etc.) I have looked through his Lloyds statements and they are a bit of a mess. I managed to locate three account numbers, one for a personal account, one for a business account and one for a business loan account. I can find £320 of charges in the business statement, but none whatsoever in the personal statements. That would be a reason for celebrating only that I think it is weird considering that all his statements had returned DD's left, right and centre and loads of letters about it stating that the overdraft was not agreed by them. At one point they even threatened to close his account due to arrears, he paid them in and the account was held open, so why the dickens can't I find any charges for bounced DD's anywhere? I am all over the place, looking through hundreds of statements which he mercifully kept, but otherwise he is so bad with his money that he is no help at all. He even doubted he could get charges back from the business account and I am going to prove him wrong! I also don't understand the situation with his business loan at all, I can only find one statement, and at some point in the past it was handed over to Wescot Credit to chase. He paid it off with my help (I have since got the money back), but doesn't that indicate he would have got charges on this loan as well at some point for non-payment? I am tearing my hair out here. Not a clue what I am doing anymore and not enjoying this Sunday at all. Sorry for the rant. Any clues on the above please?Reclaimed thanks to this site:

I have totted up the charges but have one more question. because a customer has been late paying his bill to my OH's business I have been unable to pay any money into our current account. Therefore this weekend I have watched 5 Drect debits bounce. can I include these in the charges I am reclaiming even though we won't actually be charged until 1st april?0

Hi everyone,
I posted my statements request letter in January and heard nothing. I checked with Royal Mail as I sent it recorded delivery but it does not state that it was received. I know I should have checked this before!
Does anyone know if I should send the letter again? And if so, should I send it with another cheque (cancel the first) to the BIRMINGHAM address supplied by bcbarton or the HAMPSHIRE address as supplied by Becki (and confirmed to me by Lloyds over the phone)?
Please help! I could send recorded letters to both the above and hte original CHISWELL STREET, all recorded, but don't want to have to send out cheques left right and centre!
PLEASE HELP!0 -

Keep going, this is a good time for the working people of Britian.0 -
I got through to the copy statements office on 0121 633 5411. they were very helpful - I hadnt sent my letter recorded delivery, but they had it logged and gave me a ref no for any future correspondance. I got my copies dead on the 40 days - they reminded me that its 40 days from the date they receive your letter, not the day you send it.Sealed Pot no 20110

Hi Beate
On our LLoyds TSB statements on the left hand column after the date is the abbreviation CHG every time we have been charged for bouncing cheques, going over the overdraft, returning DDs etc. If you have returned cheques etc there should be some charges.
I have posted this on a seperate thread but we have been charged £735 in one go on two occasions and many other ridiculous charges like £345 and other odd amounts.
Maybe we had your charges too!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you can work it out - stick at it and good luckLBM 22nd February 2007 - Amount in debt £72,242.23:confused: one month on  £63,900;) 2nd month 60,000.09
