Hello,
When you send the 2nd letter, the one stating you will go to the small claims court, does this need to be sent via recorded delivery?
I sent mine normally and I am still waiting for a reply. I gave then 7 days and it is now 21 days.
Should I proceed with the court route?0 -

You could phone them and check they did receive your letter or start the court proceedings. RD is recommended for all letters.0 -
Can anyone who has been in a similar situation please advise me!
I used the templates to eventually gain an offer of £250 from Lloyds Tsb.
However my original unfair charges amounted to £400, I haven't agreeded to accept this offer in any format, but my account has now been credited with £250.
In their offer letter they stated that no further correspondance would be entered into by them.
Can I still pursue the orginal amount & if so what letter must i now use that is legally acceptable & will gain me the full amount?
Thankyou.0 -
I have just received a letter says all amounts will stand. I have printed the 3rd letter and am sending this today. How come some people are getting paid and not others?0

I've just had the same happen to me, I accrued over £2,000 in charges and they've reimbursed £750 into my account (I only found out by accident when I was checking a direct debit)! I've been advised to write back to them saying that I will accept the £750 as part payment but I would now be making a claim in the small claim court for the remainder of the money owed. It only costs about £30 to do this in Scotland, however I can claim a maximum of £750 anyway, so they've done me a favour really as I'll hopefully get another £750 as well as what they've already paid me! Good luck :rolleyes:mrsbenn wrote:I was hoping someone might have some advice for me on the next step i should take!
Over the last six years i have paid out £400 on unfair overdraft fees to LLyods TSB. Having used all the template letters I have had a letter back offering a one of final offer of £250. The bank said it won't enter into further discuss with me about the matter. Is that legal/possible?
Since then the£250 has been paid into my account with no verbal or written agreement/acceptance from me.
Is it possible for me to continue to claim the full £400 or is that now it?
Thanks for any help or advice you can offer.0 -

Everyone who pursues it is getting paid eventually, some banks/cases take longer than others though.0 -
Im concerned about my daughter who does temping in London but lately the work has not been available since November and January, being overdrawn at Lloyds TSB she complained about the fact that they were taking charges plus £10 per month for insurance which she did not know about until I brought it to her attention, therefore she complained, but all she got from Lloyds was a £100 which they state was a one off token gesture. My question is this is it too late for her to complain again after. She unfortunetly does not keep bank statements, so cannot state exactly how much she should claim for, please do you have any suggestions, any advice will be much appreciated.0
