I'm really not sure how to proceed as I didn't even have to accept this amount as full and final settlement from them. However as I now live in Scotland the maximum claim I can make is £750. If anyone can let me know whether they have received an unexpected amount into their bank account and then still gone on to claim the full amount via the small claims court.
This is quite common with Lloyds now, you need to go back to them and say you will accept this in partial payment but will now be proceeding to court.
Have a read of this thread regarding claiming in Scotland.0 -
40 days is the time limit for them to supply the info/statements from the time they are deemed to have received your letter.
Addresses are in the Reclaim Help Thread link in my signature, but for your first letter asking for charges back send to your local branch.0 -
I have both a current account and a personal loan with LLyods. I've put off making a claim yet (though it would be for a couple of thousand) because I'm worried about thier reactions. Are they likely to try and close my account or loan facility?
The account is not too much of a problemas I have another current account - but the loan would be a problem as its fairly big.
Can anyone advise?
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Your loan is a different agreement from your current account and provided payments are up to date this shouldn't be affected.0

Hi. I've successfully reclaimed over £1,000 from NatWest, but Lloyds TSB look like they want to go all the way. I am claiming over £2,000 from them (excl interest) and have just had an offer for £750. This was accompanied by a v. patronising letter, so there is no way I'm going to settle. it also advised the next step was the Financial Ombudsman Service, but I've read on this site to ignore that.
I'm totally prepared to go to court and have worked out all my interest etc. I am just unsure which address to use for Lloyds on my MoneyClaim document.
Can anyone help with the correct address
thanks!!0 -
