  • I was hoping someone might have some advice for me on the next step i should take!

Over the last six years i have paid out £400 on unfair overdraft fees to LLyods TSB. Having used all the template letters I have had a letter back offering a one of final offer of £250. The bank said it won't enter into further discuss with me about the matter. Is that legal/possible?

Since then the£250 has been paid into my account with no verbal or written agreement/acceptance from me.
Is it possible for me to continue to claim the full £400 or is that now it?
Thanks for any help or advice you can offer.

write to them thanking them for the offer and say you'll accept it as part payment and that you will be contining with the claim.

or just call them and say the same thing and see if they up the offer to the full amount...if they don't continue and stick to your own timescale

    nothing to be scared of

these vultures will not defend their actions in court

it's high time the the courts prohibited banks from defending cases without the permission of a high court judge as they are abusing the court's process. it's a sad day in this country when the judges appear to be turning a blind eye to this.

  • Lloyds tsb - stalling for time?

I wrote to Loyds tsb around 4 weeks ago requesting charges for the last 4 years together with a cheque for £10 to cover their costs. I have received two letters saying how sorry they are that they have not been able to get around to my complaint and now say they will either come up with information in the next 4 weeks or advise me as to when I can expect this information. the claim I expect to be in the region of around 4k. - what are the legalities in terms of timescale for them to supply the information on overcharges? Is it 40 days or does the 40 days refer to them advising me as to when I can expect this info?

Id be soooo grateful for ay info?

    cheers

  • Within two weeks of sending a letter to Lloyds TSB asking for charges of £2250 be refunded to me I received a letter stating they would refund £750 to my account within 5 days, in fact by the time i'd received this letter the money had already reached my account and I didn't even know it! I'm really not sure how to proceed as I didn't even have to accept this amount as full and final settlement from them. However as I now live in Scotland the maximum claim I can make is £750. If anyone can let me know whether they have received an unexpected amount into their bank account and then still gone on to claim the full amount via the small claims court.

    Hi
Can anyone please tell me the correct address to send the letter asking for my money back from Lloyds? I have all the charge details and now want to send the letter asking them to refund the charges. I am not sure if it's meant to go the branch where I hold the account or a central address.

    Anyone know?

    Thanks in advance.
    missk
