I'm trying to do the money claim site and the address I enterred is coming up as a non-uk one:
    Address Details:

Customer Service Centre, Dept 90-42, Box 3, ,

    Postcode:

    BX11LT

The address details you have provided are outside of England and Wales.

On the next screen it says I will lose my money and the claim will be rejected, what do I do? Are there any other addresses I can send to?

This is the registered office for Lloyds and should be used for this stage.
  • i had a similar problem with abbey :( the court cost were likely to be in the region of £30 - £60.

give your local county court a ring (number in the phone book), who can advise you. dont assume the cost of the action against your bank as expensive because it isnt.

i have tried pursuing a claim against abbey for £286 in bank charges but they have rejected all of my three attempts, despite the threat of court action, which would have cost me £30.

but i am ok with this now as i am saving up to file for bankruptcy at the beginning of april, which means they wont receive the £1,150 i owe them.

after struggling for many years with debt, which i have tried to address, i have finally decided br is the way forward for me and my family.

yes i do feel guilty about it but i also reason that these big companies will still make a killing from their "valued" customers.

    have a great day folks

  • Hi everyone,

Received the initial letter back from Lloyds telling me they believed they were still in the right. Do I send the next letter to their customer relations department in Andover (where their letter came from)?
