Hi there, i have read some of the emails, and have listened to Martin on the radio and got fired up, completed stages 1 - applied for bank charges list - got quite a fright i see how they are in business, sent letter 2 and 3, now i have to do the court bit, and must admit very nervous. The bank is LloydsTSB and I am in Scotland and it is over the £750 about £5500 (rounded off) over the 5 years. What do i do as it will not come under small claims and finance is still very negative. Would love this money to help home improvements like some heat. Any advice would be extremely helpful as i am worried of making a mess of this and i am not exactly a female lion._pale_0

Its very easy, plus the legal people are getting fed up with the banks for defending at the earlyy stage and then settling! It wastes the courts time

Hi I am quite new to this, the story so far...
Followed all the letters from this site and now LLoyds have put in a defence the same day as I registered it with MCOL which was 13 June! Phoned local court they know nothing about it. Phoned the solicitors they know nothing about it. Have had nothing in post other than from MCOL. Is there a phone number I can contact Lloyds on to find out what is going on?
Hope someone can help I feel a bit in limbo.0 -

If you've rang their solicitors, then I don't know. If you've filed MCOL then no your local court won't know about the claim yet unless Lloyds have defended as thats when the claim is transferred.
The telephone number for the Andover recovery centre is 01264 725214 but they are very difficult to get through to,

Sorry after re reading your post I notice they have defended. I recd. my defence from them after approx. 5 days. I think the best thing to do would be to ring MCOL and ask them if the case has been transferred to your local county court yet. They usually do it automatically and you receive notification of it in the post from them but as you've been waiting a while i'd ring and ask,

Hi all. I sent my first letters (3 for 3 acc.) to Lloyds on the 18th June to address in Birmingham. I've received reply yesterday from Andover and reading through here it seams a standard wording. I'll be sending letters b4 action on monday and was wondering do I use same address like first time (Customer Care, Birmingham) or do I reply to Birmingham? MrsD.Official DFW Member no:4100
