    hi

Please help, i am trying in vain to contact lloyds tsb at the recovery centre in Andover does anyone have an email address or any hints on best time to call, i keep getting put on hold then cut off!!!!!

    thanks
Hi Finlay , Thankfully, I am now at the stage where I don't have to keep ringing Andover (just about to file N1). However, there is no good time to ring but I can tell you that redialing repeatedly will eventually get you through. When I did, twice to Howard Callanan (who is most helpful, by the way), he confessed that there were 3 / 4 people manning that phone / office and that it was ridiculous for them. Andrew Hooker is another who has answered the phone to me. It's good to get through as they suggest that in doing so, you identify yourself as, and I quote, "an individual" rather than just an account number! however, if you're just hoping to establish contact with a view to responses to you letters, the most you will achieve is a letter back and the £750 quid (dependent on the figure you're claiming). After that, you can handover from Andover!
  • Hi I'm new to this so bear with me...
I have read through the posts and the questions I need answers for are listed but don't seem to have responses.

I am claiming 3 lots of charges back, 2 Lloyds and one HSBC. All of them are at the court stage. Have this morning recieved 80% of what I was asking for from HSBC so I am happy with that. Lloyds however have left it to the last day to acknoledge one of the claims and have entered a defence for the other.

Firstly does anyone know where I can obtain a t&c for Lloyds as the account was opened 10 years ago by my partner then turned into a joint with me 5 years ago and we cannot find a copy.

Secondly do I need to ring Lloyds solicitors to find out what their defence is?

Thirdly do I need to post any information to tha solicitors or do I just sit and wait?

    Sorry for the essay

Hi l have just been looking at my MCOL and it says l am unable to take this claim any furthur online and will be transferred to the appropriate court for continuation and that l will recieve confirmation to where the claim has been transferred shortly.
Anyone else had this ? I thought they had 28 days to get a defence and if l hadn`t heard by then l could put a judgement in against them(Lloyds) please help !!

It usually says this when a defence has been submitted and it will be passed on then to your local court for a hearing date to be set, hence the no further action online. What does it say under 'status' ?

Hi Kez it just says defence

Hi Kez it just says defence

Thats why you can not proceed any further online. From the date the claim is deemed served the bank has 14 days to acknowledge, if they dont you can request judgement if they do it gives them a further 14 days in which time they have the chance to submit a defence to the claim. If they dont submit a defence within these 28 days you may again request judgement by default if however they do and as they have, as you have filed via MCOL, the online court service all claims automatically start at Northampton, they will then be passed if a defence is received to your local county court for a hearing date to be set.

You should receive notification through the post of any acknowledgement or defence and guidance of what happens next from MCOL.

I hope this is a bit clearer for you,

It's usually worth contacting them once you have a court date, As long as the account wasn't passed on to a collections company from debt owing then yes you should receive a cheque or ask for new banking details to pay the money won into there as they cannot credit a closed account :j
