I am at the stage where LloydsTSB's solicitors have acknowledged my claim and intend to defend all of it. I am a little scared now. What do you think, will it go to court?
Thanks,
Kam
I'm at exactly the same stage as you, they've acknowledged with the intent to defend all of the claim  from what I read on here, once you get a court date they begin to settle the claims, they have until friday to defend then, hopefully they wont so I can request judgement (heres hoping) :rotfl:

Puzzled, I wrote to lloyds claiming 1203 in charges, and threated with court. No reply. Then i went and applied via MCOL for a court hearing and paid £120. Last week i got a payment from Lloyds of £750 as final offer, today i have recived another £573 in my account with no letter. Whcih means that they have paid my claim and court costs before the 28 days for them to reply is up. Is this a new tactic? I take it now i contact MCOL and cancel the process?0

Hi,
I am just about to submit my claim online against Lloyds for just under £2300 (inc interest and courts charges) after folowing the proper procedures.
Looking at all the posts above my guess is that Lloyds will submit a defence and I'd like to be prepared (not least becuase I will be very busy in the next month).
What will I need to send to the courts? I have copies of all the letters I have sent and received in the process of starting the claim and the speadsheet but no copy bank statements (Lloyds sent me a list of charges rahter than statements).
Thanks in advance for any help.Holiday of a lifetime - December 2010

Have you had any payments from Lloyds yet? As if you contact the andover office and advise you are still not happy they have dealt with your claim in a correct way, you may get some money back.0 -

I've had nowt! I had a standard reply to my initial request for replayment with schedule of charges and have had no reply to my letter saying I do not feel I have had a satisfactory response and notification that intend to claim if I don't hear anything within 14 days. Today is the 14th day after I sent that letter.

lindilou39 wrote: »Its still worth printing those off, trouble is some of the templates ask you to request from your bank the last 6 yrs charges that have been applied to your account, they gave me the first 2 years in statement form but I have no excuse as I can go online and backtrack the last four years, is it possible you have lost statements?? and when did you apply for online banking or paperless statements??
