Thank you lindilou for the address.
You've been more help than my local branch because according to the staff there they don't have either a phone number or an address.
I'll fax them tomorrow and see how I get on.

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone had ideas as to why some people get a goodwill gesture and others nothing??
I am at the court stage and filed my AQ 2 weeks ago. I have heard nothing since from either the court or Lloyds.
I dont know why some get it and others dont...any ideas??
Im just hoping im reaching settlement stage soon but knowing Lloyds it could be some time yet!!

I started the process last July. Iur Court date is for later this month. We got a goodwill gesture of £750 in January. Sent AQ in late Feb. Heard nothing from anyone for six weeks then got court date through for June.
I can't say why some get offer and others not. Some get settled as soon as AQ goes in aswell so not sure how any of it works. Sorry I can't help.

Hi All Just a quick question I sent in a estimated claim to TSB for £2.130.00 As i only have 12 months statements. They gave me a standard reply IE 4/8 weeks. Then a reply stateing that as they were account fees they would not be refunding any money. But at no time have they sent me any statements or the true amount. So do i start again asking for statements or just go to court with an estimate.? Any help please.

  • Hello, I've been trying to get my money back since February and have finally got there. The whole amount I was claiming was £393.26 which I did get, but there are a couple of things puzzling me.

I went to MCOL and on 01/06/07 got a letter from Lloyds saying they don't agree to adjust any of the charges but they were willing to pay me £371. Then on 05/06/07 I got a letter from the court saying Lloyds were going to defend the whole claim. Then finally on the 11/06/07 I got £443.26 paid into my account as a BC refund. This is equal to £393.26 plus the £50 I paid MCOL.

So what happens next? Do I have to wait for Lloyds to do something, the court to do something or do I need to tell the court Lloyds paid the money. Also Lloyds have paid me more than they said they would. Are they likely to realise this and ask for it back?

    Thanks

I would just be very happy it ended so quickly! They paid you the correct amount i.e. amount claimed and fee you paid. So don't worry about it and Well Done!

    Just got a defensive :(

"You are unable to take any further action online on this claim.

The Defendant disputes the whole amount you have claimed. Your claim cannot proceed online and will be transferred to the appropriate court for continuation. You will receive confirmation to where the claim has been transferred to shortly."

So, I'll get something soon and hopefully a court date. I need this sorted by end of August?

I know there are a million threads on this but if anyone has some help at this stage (with Lloyds specifically) then please lemme know :)
