  • My charges are quite piddlie compared to everyone elses. I'm complaining about a £30 charge they havn't taken out yet. but I have complained to no avail and had a letter this week saying the £30 will be taken out of my account on the 1st of feb. so I have just sent my first letter and reworded it because the money hasn't come out yet. so I will see what happens next. Is there no way I can stop them taking money out of my account if I am disputting this?
    HOW MUCH ?
  • Lloyds-Tsb have passed my 'Debt' onto 'Moorcroft Debt Recovery Limited' - this debt is my overdraft limit along with bank charges that made the account overdrawn. I have received the standard Lloyds letters in respect of bank charges and threatening them with court action.

Last week I have requested the last 6 years of charges as per 'MoneySavingExpert' so waiting for this.

Since this is the reverse of what others are doing and that as a defendant I will be using the bank charges as my defence, should I be putting in a counter claim?

Has anyone else been a defandant rather than a claimant?
  • HI there, my first post. I have received the initial data from Lloyds but it is a combination of bank statements and a list of charges identified by codes. There is a key to the codes but no monetary value so I cant get a total. Should I write for clarification?

Can you not go through your statements and identify the charges using the list of codes that you have been given?

  • Hi everyone.

I am in the process of trying to get a quote on charges that were added to my curreent account, Loan account and Mastercard that I had with Lloyds.

However, I did have a loan with Black Horse Finance and am not sure this is part of Lloyds TSB and if to claim this as part of the court claim or seperate claim.

    Any input is much appreciated.

I am hoping to hear about charges from Lloyds and the 19th Jan will be the
4oth day to get a reply.

So I will see what develops from then.

    Best Wishes to all

PS... People are advertising on EBAY to claim charges for your behalf... Avoid

  • Sorry all maybe my last post was not clear. I wrote asking for a list of all my charges and including the £10. On the 39th day what came back was a letter saying that they had sent statements to cover one period (no problem) and just a list of the charges to cover the rest of the time. This list was just code numbers (key attached as well) but with no monetary value against them. Also, the periods overlap. If I were cynical I would say they were setting out to confuse me...any advice welcome but I suppose another letter asking for straightforward information might be the way? Thanks

I would advise them that you will be reporting them for not complying with your subject access request unless they forward you all of the information that you requested in your origional letter.
