Has your cheque been cashed yet, do you have proof of posting ? my friend is having the same problem with Lloyds TSB but she took her £10 and letter into her local branch and had them give her a receipt so she has proof of the date she requested the info......do you have any proof? She telephoned them cos the 40 days is nearly up and they said they had no details etc etc - she told them she had the receipt from her local branch and they said they would get them out straight away.
Think I would be phoning them if I were you.0 -
Hi All
Seems the banks are paying out a lot quicker just hope Lloyds TSB will be the same still have 7 days out of 14 to wait, heres hoping.0 -
Since TSB offered me £750, of my claim for £2250, and further to my reply of accepting this as a partial payment, I have now received a form to fill in and details of their defence, plus a request for another £100.
I paid £120 when I did the claim online.
Do you think it will still go to court?
I said on my letter, about accepting the £750, that I would cancel the court proceedings if TSB were to add to their £750 offer (£1000 more would do the trick !)
I hate TSB ! :mad:0 -
get your head around going to court now , fill in the forms correctly , be patient and reply to all correspondence . You will now get the full amount back ( £2250 ) or as near as dammit .0

Hi, I posted last night, but looking at my post today, it appears to be someone elses!...Just a quickie, I sent a letter to LLoydsTSB on 13 December asking for my statements for 6 years, but as of yet they havent cashed the cheque I sent, and I have not received any statements from them. Shall I just claim for the 2-3 years worth of online statements that I have, and get that moving, whilst I wait for the rest, or can I only make one claim? What do I do if they do not give me the statements?....Please please please help, I really want to fight this to the end, but it's no good if I can't get off the first step!, Regards, Denise0

Um, no, I didnt send my letter with proof of postage, as I didnt expect them to be snide at this early stage! All I have is the letter on Word and my chq book stub, they havent cashed the cheque yet...Shall I just go into my bank and start again?0

The bank has 40 days to send your statements. Don't do anything till this time is up. You would be better to put one claim in for the full six years rather than starting a part claim now.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Seems as though £750 from Lloyds is the same amount most people seem to be receiving. Who did you receive the form from? Was it Lloyds solicitor's or the Court itself?
I'm not too sure what to do next myself - tell the Courts by sending a new schedule of charges or what. My charges would fall below £1000 then and I think I read somewhere you don't have to pay any further money if it is under that sum

The letter is at home and I'm at work, I think the letter is from the court.
I have just checked my account and TSB have only credited my account with £500 and not the £750 as confirmed in their letter.
I may charge them £30 and £25 a day til they correct this !!! :rotfl:0
