Have a look at the information posted by MISSC earlier in this thread she sent them a letter as they hadn't payed up after I think 7 days. She finally got the money but only after this letter.
Good Luck0 -
Well Lloys only have up until today to acknowledge my claim. They don't get an extra day with it being bank hol lst monday do they ? It says todays date as the final day on the notice of issue. I've just rang the court and so far they haven't acknowledged :j I didn't file through MCOL I did it via local court, what time have they got left to acknowledge ? Is it the close of business ?

With MCOL they have until midnight but I'm not sure if it the same with local court.
I hope that they have forgotten and you are lucky, I'm waiting for a court date as they acknowledged and defended mine on the same day.0 -
Has everyone read the below, taken from BBC news page
It has come to light that a district judge at Rhyl county court in Denbighshire has written to Lloyds TSB telling it to submit, by 5 June, a list of all the cases it has taken to trial and all the ones it has settled.
The order of Judge Thomas says that if it fails to do this, "the court... is considering striking out the defence as an abuse of process on the basis that the defendant has settled all previous claims of this nature."
Lets hope that this goes our way.....0 -
Hi,
I wrote to Lloyds TSB asking for my charges back inc interest. Got the usual fob off letter, Wrote to them again, saying I would settle for a slightly lower amount. haven't had any sort of response since this (which was at least a month ago). I can't afford the £120 court fee at the moment. Is there a 3rd letter I can send, just to reiterate the 2nd? Then perhaps, if they don't budge, I can afford the court fee at the end of June.0 -
I have now been to the court and started my proceedings against (unfortunately )Lloydstsb. I have followed all tips to the letter, having had no reply to the final stage letter before court. My papers hopefully will have been served by Monday next. I am 63 years old, disabled, find it very hard to make ends meet and discovered I had £3550.15 in unfair bank charges. I was treated with the greatest respect at the court and found to my delight they waived the charges of £120.00 as I am in receipt of pension credit, come on you guys in similar circumstances give it a go. Good luck to me ha ha and everyone else in circumstances like mine. Marie0
