This is my third day of constantly redialling all the numbers I have for Loyds in Andover. Each number is either engaged, rings out or tells me the message box is full.

They made an offer to me through the Financial Ombudsman on 14th May and still no money. I did actually get through first time when I phoned last Thursday  and was told the money would be in on Tuesday at the latest.

Can anyone tell me how long it took for their money to come through if they have been successful? Please.

    Hi,

I'm currently in the process of reclaiming about £1400.00 (includes the interest and court fee) from Lloyds TSB. I have got to the stage where I have been allocated a hearing date at my local county court (14th August).

Could anyone please give me EXACT details of what I should do now?

    ie.
    1. do I sit back and wait?
    2. what documents do I need to prepare incase Lloyds don't settle beforehand and I end up going to the hearing?
    3. If I do have to go to the hearing, do I employ the costly services of a solicitor?
    4. should I fire another shot accros the bows like someone else did by writing to the judge asking for Lloyds defence to be struck out for wasting court time?

Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated, thank you.

I'm just waiting for my court date to arrive but look at the link below for any help in preparation:-

    I hope this helps.

  • I recently received the list of charges from Lloyds (bang on the 40th day). Their letter (which they could not even get my name right) stated that they had listed the charges for the last six years or from 1st September 2001 whichever was the latest and if I wanted the remaining charges it would take considerably longer to obtain. I'm working on the laws of average and have decided to take a chance and not ask for the remainder.

I have however very politely added a little sentence to the 2nd letter reminding them that they did not comply with my original request. So am now hoping for a good outcome :undecided
In spite of the cost of living, it’s still popular

I don't seem to be able to find my copy of T&C's for my Lloyds TSB Classic account, if anybody has a copy that they could possibly pass on, it would be much appreciated as I'm trying to put all my documents together ready for a court hearing OR to send a pre-emptive strike!

    many thanks

  • I am in the process of claiming extortionate bank charges on behalf of my husband and have received copies of the charges made to his account in the last 6 years.
I'm confused - from what I can work out, my husband has had a number of charges for unpaid D/D for a vast amount of money ie. £210, £150, even £300!! Now these were from 2003/2004 - are these actual charges for every time they tried to take the D/D from the account and there were insufficient funds? My husband doesn't believe me when I tell him that they are charges and that we can claim them back. More recently his charges have only been for £30 or £35 (I don't mean only - it's still too much!!) - Did they change the ruling on how much they could charge?
I don't want to send the letter off if I've got it all wrong.

I hope that somebody can help me - first time on the forums!!
    Thanks

Sounds like the earlier ones could be accumulated charges for that month.

Follow Martin's guide in my signature and start the process.
  • Thanks for that.
I've now compiled the list and also have added the interest on top using the calculator on this site. Can I just send a copy of the charges with interest or does it also need to say what the charge was for? I have so far got the date, charge, interest and total amount.

Also, who do I send this letter to? Its the first letter asking for the money back? Do I send it to the branch or a different address?

    Many thanks.
