I want to send a nudge letter to Lloyds, understand it has to go to their solicitors (court date set for 4th July) and want to try this prior to sending court bundle. Where can I get their solicitors addrsss from, I haven't received any comms from them, so should it go to Lloyds tsb instead?

Only claiming £290 inc court costs, so really hoping this may help!

received £450 out of a £3,000 claim which was paid into our account before we could decline offer but we still did. A week later we received a further letter with a £750 full and final settlement saying this would be paid into our account with 10 days, this was over a month ago. We still wanted to continue to claim the full amount but they seem to have ceased any correspondence with us. If they put in writing they were going to pay a further £750 sure they are oblidged to pay.

Hi i wonder if anyone can help me? I sent my letter to the fo on the 08/05 and recieved a reply of them on the 09/05 saying they would be in touch within 14 days, they havent yet been intouch but i have been reading on there website that they can give the banks 8 weeks to sort this matter out. Is it worth hanging on for a reply or should i phone the ombudsman.
    Any advice?
    Thanks in advance

As they had already given you a goodwill gesture I would say this second letter was probably a mistake and that is why they haven't put the money in the account.

However if you are continuing to reclaim the rest I suggest you get on with it now and don't leave it another month. Its up to you to start the court action, they aren't going to respond any further to you unless you do this.

It would be worth trying to speak to somebody about this? The way to get intouch is phone the normal 0845 3000000 and it will ask if it regarding charges press one when you get threw to them you need to explain what has happend and they will send the correct department an email and someone should get back to you? i know this is the long straw but it is probably the only way of getting any form of correspondence have you acctually applied for mcol?

I need some help if anyone is able to:
I am currently in the process of claim my charges back, I am on the third letter which advises the bank that I will contact the courts if charges not returned within 7 days. My problem, its now been 14 days with no responce the bank is Lloydstsb, I have tried calling them without success as the telephone message advises 28 days to reply. Should I wait for a reply or persue through the small claims court? any advise is greatly appriciated.

Keep to your word. Do not let the bank take control, you are the one in charge here.

Follow the next step in the process. Do not wait. Thy will try and put you off. Call their bluff. Once you back down, they gain control.

Get on the next stage ASAP, do it online if you find it easier. Follow the step by step guide to claiming bank charges as displayed on this site.

If a dealine is given to them, stick to it. They would if the roles were reversed.

    Good luck.. ;)
    Keep smiling...:rotfl:

On Friday i filed my claim with the courts online but i put the address for Lloyds as the Andover address. Did i put the wrong address? If i did how do i go about rectifying this mistake?
Thanks for your help in advance.
