Posted first letter to LLoyds on 17th April 07.
Received a reply 13 days later (3rd May) with the usual drivel blah blah blah. Not put off!
Sent my letter saying if they didn't pay it would go to court on 3rd May.
No reply as yet as can't afford fees until I get paid.
Tried to ring the Andover recovery centre and I get the same message, Option 1 " if it is under 28 days that you sent your letter we will get a reply to you in 28 days" then cuts off.
The other option 2 " if your letter is over 28 days, we are sorry and we will get one out to you asap". Cut off!
I am claiming for £5,058.66, that is including charges. I haven't seem many people having claims a big as mine though. I'm a bit worried.
My partner is claiming £2,100 from them as well.

I received my bank statements from Lloyds 2 weeks ago as requested and within 24 hours i had sent them a letter asking for my charges back. Within 14 days i then received their normal waffle letter about how its a service and its fair, BS BS BS!
I then sent them the next letter saying i was not happy with their reply and if i didn't have a better one within 14 days i'd take them to court. All well and good up to that point.
It's been 14 days since i sent that letter and finally got a response from them this morning. It was like Christmas opening that letter...until shock horror i realised that all they had sent was another copy of my bank statements. Now in any other situation i would put it down to simple "bank error", but i'm wondering if they are trying this as a delaying tactic. Has anyone else had this happen and should i carry on and go to the court even if it may just be an error?
Any advice would be great.
Thanks.:eek:0 -

I have been sorting out reclaiming bank charges for my mum and dad:beer:
LLoyds bank owe nearly £4500 in bank charges.
i have the bank statements, and sent the letter stating how much.
Now they have had a letter saying they have to wait another 4 wks for a reply to the bank charges.
do i go ahead stating court action or wait?
thanks
