If i understand you right you have received a letter from Lloyds telling you that the money they have charged you is not a charge but a fee for a service. Ignore this it's just a way to try to put you off. Now is the time to use the second letter provided here and threaten court action.
    Good Luck with your claim.

I understand why you think that butit's not that. I sent off for a list of charges and the details I had back were the ammounts i went over my overdraft not what I was charged as a fee. Eg: £4.99 OD etc etc

    Hi,

Dropped another letter in my local tsbs letter box yesterday. It basically says that the amount of interest is going up all the time there stalling and gives them the new figure of the amount I want from them. I said that ive begun to file my court papers (which I have). Ive said I will settle out of court for the amount less the interest and give them 7 days to get back to me with a satisfactory response, otherwise Ill just carry on with the claim.

So we will see what response they give. Probably nothing!

I have a question...where you have to write down a total figure of what your claming on the court papers..how do you get around it increasing (due to interest) ?? Or can you update it as the case progresses?

    Hello folks :)

I am in the middle of a claim with Lloyds for just over 1000 pounds, I have recieved a letter offering 750 as final settlement.
My question is do I have to do anything to accept the amount offered? also they stated in the letter dated the 11th that the money would be placed in my account within ten days. Has anyone else had this and did they pay up in a timely manner?

    Many thanks in advance.

Well it has been 19 days since I sent out my letter explaining I wasn't happy with there inital response, and I have recieved no reply to them (they were given 14 days to respond).

Reading some posts here people seem to mention now going to MCOL.

    I truely have no idea:-

    (1) What this is?
    (2) What to do with it?

    Any help would be fantastic.

    Thank you

i recieved the same letter on saturday morning....19th may so im just waiting for them to credit it into my account.
i dont think you need to contact them for it to go in but maybe a quick call may speed up the process.
im gonna call and ask when they are putting it in.
