Would be very grateful if somebody could advise me;)

    Hi,

Write a letter headed 'COMPLAINT' to the complaints address of the bank. Enclose a copy of your original request letter and advise them they have 7 days to send the statements or you will go to the Information Commissioner and the FSO which will incur the bank a fine whether or not they are in the wrong.

I used this with MBNA and surprise surprise the statements arrived.

Dont forget to send the letters signed for so they can not say they have not had it.

    Hi,

LTSB ackowledged my claim on Friday. Does anybody know if they are paying up before defending the claim or will I have to go through the Court process.

My Claim is for a meesley £288.00 with interest and Court Costs so by most standards a small amount?

Anybody out there know how they are dealing with smaller claims?

    Thanks

doubtful - they will either defend OR forget and you get judgement

you can always ring there solicitors and say you find it ludicirous when you know they are paying up that they allow it to go this far for the amount it is and that you feel they are wasting court time - worth a try

if you look back i think 2 pages on this thread ive gave hookys1 the tel and fax number although the fax number was 1 digit wrong

fax no should end 41 NOT 51

Hi - in view on todays news i.e. "lloyds TSB won appeal at Birmingham District court on bank charges", does this now change anything?

Im currenty due at court within the next 7 days as Lloyds are defending the default charges. I would like to know if anyone has been to court where the judge has ruled in favor of the claimant?

Also on this case Lloyds transfered £700 into my account as goodwill just after I actioned the moneyclaim, but they WILL NOT remove it eventhough I have asked them to twice by letter (sent recorded post)

I have several business/personal accounts with lloyds TSB, but currently only claiming on one account, can i still claim other accounts at a later date if successful in court?

    Thank you.

fingers crossed for you - will be a good outcome if they dont defend and you can get judgement before you go away

    going anywhere nice?

Please can I have some advice.

I have done to the letter what is suggested here.

After my first 'NO' letter I sent another letter asking 'without prejudice' for a settlement. I gave them 14 days to reply and that was up last friday, so can I get some advice on what next to do please?

Do I simply write again, enclosing a copy of my last letter and ask them for a speedy reply?

I knew that of after the first letter you carried on regardless, so I did so is my next step a letter saying that becasue they ignored my last letter it is my intention to take them to court if I have heard nothing within 14 days and then go ahead and do it?

Also has anyone used the interent link on Martin's page to legally take people on????

Any help would be great :)

    Liz x

    PS Go Marin GO!

    Hi liz
send the letter saying you haven't recieved a satisfactory response to your previous letter and so you will now be taking them to court!! They seem to be stalling you, go by your time scale not theirs!
    Good luck
    Kim
