Just dawned on me today whilst bored at work, how come ltsb replied to the LBA with offer of £750, they was deemed to receive court notification on the 9th may, so me couldnt understand why they didnt respond to the court claim???
I now know....they cant read....I gave them 7 days to respond or action would be taken.... (I actually gave them 9 days in kindness) they mistook the 7 for a 14, maybe they was a bit toooo quick shelving the letter before reading it....
I may delay responding to the unacceptance part of the £750, to late to accept it now anyway, and hopefully they,ve overlooked the fact they have been served, One can only hope.0 -

just got the above link off a post on the main front page - about how judges are getting sick of banks - how strange (not!!) that one of the banks that a judge was sick of was LLoyds TSB (see towards end of artical)
makes good reading if you've missed it from front page0 -

Lloyds had until 8th to acknowledge ( they didnt)
File for judgement on 9th May.
But called court today to see if judgement had been issued and court said they have a huge backlog and are still working on cases from 3rd May! So lloyds may have indeed acknowledged but it hasnt entered the system yet, worryingly neither has my request for judgement, even though i delivered it in person and has 9th of May stamped on by the courts office. Lady said to wait another 10-14 days to hear from them!
Am getting worried now!
that seems to be the problem with the courts - i'd heard some where a week behind - moneyclaim were about 1 day behind when i got my judgement on 9th May - filed 9th May they didnt issued judgement till 10th May (although its dated the 9th) had to wait until 5pm that day to find out as they update there systems at 4pm that day.
Stupidly at one point the courts where better option as you handed in your judgement request and they done it there and then
its all unfair - you have waited your time and its not your fault if the courts cant keep up with the demand.

Hi there
has anyone heard of this then
filed against lloyds and it ran out on 8th of may they didnt even aknowledge it so on the 9th i entered judgement against tsb then thought i would leave it a week to see what happens.
i have today rang my court where it was issued and they said lloyds tsb did aknowledge on the 9th but because i entered judgement on 9th they threw it back at them saying they were too late, now isnt it a releif too know that they are on my side and not the big company.
so i thought my next step would be now they know that judgement is against them i thought i would ring and try and get my money paid into my account asap so my question is has anyone got the phone number of where i should ring and who

Dear Team,
I started my “fight” with Lloyds Bank TSB regarding my bank charges on the 23rdMrach 2007. On the 19th April 2007 I received a letter from them , apologising that they did not received my letter of 23/03/2007!(A day after I sent the second letter registered and 1st class post)
In my second letter I stated that I am taking them to court and I also enclosed a copy of my previous letter and schedule of all the charges again.
As attachments I am enclose a copies (scanned) of there 1st letter and then their reply about the cost of sending D/D and cheques bank.
In this letter they talk about credit card charges (I haven’t got one!) My charges or prices are for service they provide.
Further more I do not need and I did not ask them for statements because as you can see I have the info and even the bank statements numbers.
Statement
Page O/D Ex Fee Unpaid D/D Total
xx Totals 465.00 540.00 1005.00
Please help me !
It seems as if Lloyds is not going to pay. Please put me in touch with a person that I can talk too.
Regards
Hantie
Ps I did go to the forum regarding claiming and basic bank account but I need more help.
Have a nice day
(How do I copy the Letters received as attachments for somebody to read?) Very Stupid me!
