Does anyone know if a claim on MCOL can be acknowledged and defended in the same day or does there have to be a time period between these.

Please Help.......

Myself and Lloyds need to provide our defence documents to the courts by this friday the 18th.

As yet i have not been paid my charges back.

Does anyone know if Lloyds will pay me before then or just not submit documents and let the judge award in my favour on the 13th July.

You will need to carryon with the documents, its just playing the waiting game they could pay up at any time but you need to go along with them.

They haven't acknowledged yet. I tried to get judgement but MCOL won't let me. On my MCOL form it said i could claim judgement on 12/05/2007 but its not letting me :mad:

hi if they have till the 12th to defend that was a saturday so sorry to say that means they have til midnight tonight .... lloyds have till 30th to defend mine and a lady at mcol told me they have til the wednesday 2 extra days because of the bank holiday sme applies to weekends i think hope this helps pawly39

I have until the 30th to claim mine too - can't believe that they get an extra 2 days cos of bank holidays - they certainly wouldn't give us an extra 2 days if it was the other way aorund. :mad:

hope all goes well - they haven't defended yet, but by what I've read on here that doesn't mean anything! not holding my breath, fully expecting to have to go to court for it.

Only 6 days til baby due!!

I have spoken to MCOL this morning and mine is like yours but one week later, and they told me that I had to wait until after midnight on the Monday.

Fingers crossed for you, they haven't entered a defence for me either yet.

My MCOL date is the 19th May, and I bet they acknowledge against me its just my luck.
